Zaxaa Membership Plugin - Any Thoughts?

Hi.

I'm a complete non-techie currently using zaxaa to deliver a product (ebook). Based on feedback from my audience, I would like to create a membership site.

Zaxaa offers a free membership plugin. Can anyone give me any insight on this? I've looked at their videos and it seems pretty straight forward.

Do I need a website to use the plugin? I don't currently have one. If so, my plan is to grab one of the free templates Wordpress offers.

Once things get going and this part of my business is successful, I will upgrade to a custom site. At that point the members area will be a part of the site, but not the entire site. For example, there will be a blog and a store in addition to the members area. I just want to get started now without alot of headaches.

Any information, thoughts or reviews regarding this would be greatly appreciated!

      Hi Duane.

      Thank you for your response.

      I don't have to use a free theme. It's just my choice for the moment to get started fast. I'm actually planning to have a custom site created in the near future. For now, I just want something to get started with.

      At the moment all I've got is a landing page with a sign up form for people to get a free e-course. The landing page is really awful, but it is working! So, I'm not too worried about getting started with a free template.

      If the membership site gets going and appears that it will do well, then I'll have everything transferred to the new website.

      I look forward to your update after you get your membership site set-up!
