Default Re: anyone used Website Content Wizard?

I hate it but I think I have to quit on this software ...

Can anyone suggest another software which can generate the articles from the excel blocks like WCW did?

Please help as I have spent hours creating these excel files and now cannot use them as WCW wont work!

Tommyp, You probably don't remember me, but you went out of your way once to help me. This guy wasn't offering support and like you said kind of vanished. You went out of your way on a Sunday. I have not forgotten and appreciated the effort.

I have been using
Website Development Wizard
Website Header Wizard
Website Headline Wizard
Website Article Wizard
Website Content Wizard
and have been having licence issues with them all.

Thanks for the fixes in this thread, but we now need a permanent fix for the registered users if anyone has any ideas.

Hi Jim

I'm upset to say that no I don't remember because I was inundated by many emails regularly at one point but thanks for mentioning it and I'm glad I could help.

Unfortunately I now do not answer any questions about WCW.

I still get the odd one here and there.

If you still use it I hope you can make use of the fix by the other person on this thread.

If I remember right we actually talked on the Phone, it was sometime back. In any case I was very glad I bought thru your link. WCW was a bit complex and your book most definitely helped a lot. I am sorry to hear that this guy didn't give you your due. No one can afford to work and not get paid. It really was (your book and the software) well done. So I hope you take a little comfort in that .

To the original poster if you do get this (it wasn't a bad bit of software) it had quite a learning curve. I would for sure buy it thru Tommyp's link. And get the book.
That is if he is still doing it. Like I said it was very well put together despite the creators "eccentricities", shall we say. I personally have no idea what is going on with Watson. Too bad this happened.

Tommyp, I have been thru some bad crap too in the last few years, finally getting a little better. Keep your head up and above all do not let the bastards get you down.
You struck me as a decent guy.

Anyway I hope things get better

Jim

I've warned everybody several times that this thread could only remain open if it was about the product and not about the person behind the product.

I fully understand why people are angry with David - I feel that myself every time that I receive a 'promotional' email from him.

However, Allen has set very stringent rules for this forum and it's my job to make sure they are obeyed.

I think the best way to make sure that the valuable information in this thread is not removed by any of the senior moderators is to close it at this point.
