Default Thesis vs ithemes Wordpress Themes

I am thinking about buying Thesis or ithemes Wordpress Themes. I like the way the itheme Builder theme gives you the option of creating a landing page without the sidebars within your blog. Also, itheme is much cheaper.

However, I have also heard so many good things about Thesis especially for SEO.

Hi,

I purchased the developers Thesis package about 8 months ago....It is an exceptional template with exceptional support with one caveat, there is a learning curve. If you want to make a lot of changes you will need to learn a few things but the support forum is excellent and I have never failed to get an answer here.

The developer is constantly upgrading and coming out with new features which make it easier to modify with each upgrade, so some of the stuff I had problems learning 8 months ago are already addressed and no longer a problem...

I am not familiar with the other theme but thought I would give you my thoughts on Thesis...it ROCKS!

You can do the same thing with Thesis -- the landing page with no sidebars -- easily and simply create a squeeze page.

I totally agree. Thesis is excellent and I use it for one of my blogs, but yes, there is a learning curve. I also use WooThemes and I'm equally impressed.

I'd take a look at Headway 1.5 myself, I bought a developers licence for Thesis last summer, and still had to hire a designer for client websites.

Thesis might seem very "easy to customize" but still requires quite a bit of CSS modification etc. to make it look right...

Then I came across Headway 1.5 this past week and it was a no-brainer for me, I bought the developer's licence, and was able to make in 30 minutes, what I paid $300 for a Thesis designer to do on a different site.

Check it out http://www.headwaytemplates.com (aff link) or Headway Premium WordPress Theme (non-aff)

The builder theme from Ithemes is by far the easiest and best theme I have ever used.

You can customize EVERYTHING without having to know code.

They now have a style manger that is plain SICK..

You can do all the customizations quickly that in the past with any other theme you would have to go into the code.

Cory and his team have built the best theme on the planet bar none.

Also if you are wondering I actually use both frameworks for my designs.
