Default Nanacast vs 1SC- Pros and Cons

Hey Warriors,

Just noticed Nanacast recently (totally forgot about it) and was wondering about a few features.

Upsell and Downsell Automation-

Integration with WP

Content Dripping

I know the owner of Nanacast is on here (Josh Anderson I think???)

Anyhow, the reason I'm wondering is b/c I picked up 1sc b/c it can do $ per lead list building offers and also integrates with Digital Access Pass.

However, these things might not be necessary...

Can someone explain a bit of this (user or owner or whoever)

Cheers,

Brad

Nanacast can do all you just listed no other solution needed with integrated content delivery, dripping, and we even offer a WP plugin. Our affiliate system can do pay per lead campaigns and much more.

See our features list here:

Nanacast Features List

We also have integrated tech to do real time digital phone and/or sms validation which is great for your CPL (cost per lead) campaigns... we will be offering this in a new Nanacast account level soon which will include some of the most affordable and desirable sms broadcast and follow up automation (including dripping) and all the features from our CPA network platform which will enable you to run your own CPA network as well including third party offers.

Hey Josh,

I've lost track of what I've bought from you over the years.

I'll need to see if I can work out whether I already bought this or not

Do you have anyone that can do an install and setup for Nanacast?

Thanks

Andy

lol... them's the words of a busy man

Nanacast is a hosted service... though we do provide an api and a WP plugin for those who want to use it with advanced integrations.

But there is literally nothing that needs to be installed. Copy and paste a line of code to add a button or form into your site or link to a login page etc. is all.

However, I can recommend third party consultants and implementation people who use Nanacast for their clients if someone needs.

The best place for these type of conversations is on our support desk though ;-)

A fellow warrior created an independent review site of our solution and compares it in some of his posts to other popular solutions like infusionsoft.

He has posted a few articles on this site and it will give you a good idea of what the platform does:

Nanacast Review Nanacast vs. InfusionSoft: Which Is Better?
Josh,

2 things...thanks for posting and I'm now a customer.

That warrior who did nanacast review is the reason why I purchased. While I waited for your response I did a LOT more research and I've been close to purchasing in the past. However, once the owner of that site showed me his videos I was like "jackpot...this is what I want."

Thanks for creating a great service!

Cheers,

Brad

Hi Josh,

I have been looking at Nanacast for some time as well.

I was wondering...

When dealing with Paypal and memberships, does Nanacast take care of the monthly transactions or does it create a paypal subscription?

Thanks,

There are various versions of PayPal integration... Nanacast works with three of them.

With PayPal standard you set everything up in Nanacast including the buy process which leads you into paypal where the subscriber completes the transaction and if it is recurring then the subscription resides there in PP as well as any billing info update activities etc. But Nanacast still automates all the management including shutting things off if they cancel.

PayPal Website Payments Pro and PayFlow Pro work more like merchant gateways where everything including the rebill and other billing management is handled by Nanacast. One click upsells is possible with these type of PayPal integrations and other merchant account gateways we work with.

If you want more info on the pros and cons of paypal standard I published this excellent article on it here:

http://nanacast.com/docs/paypal

That is an education anyone considering using paypal standard needs to read no matter what platform they plan on using.

My own preference is to only offer PayPal standard for one time transactions. For recurring I recommend using our PayFlow Pro or Website Payments pro PayPal integration or using an actual Merchant account gateway like Authorize.net, NMI, or any NMI white label or any gateway that offers an authorize.net Emulator.

We list various gateways and processors we are integrated with on our features page:

Hi Josh,

I have 3 questions about nanacast:

1) You said that nanacast is hosted but you provide APIs. Does this mean that we can integrate nanacast with our own hosted checkout page?

2) How much can we customize the design and layout of the hosted checkout page.

3) Can we insert conversion tracking pixels on the checkout page?

Thanks,

Blaise

The secure checkout pages will always be hosted by us. Our SSL requires that much. You could iframe our checkout page with and SSL page on your own site but I don't recommend it and we don't support it.

You have 100% control over the html. You can place our form in the html using a tag. There are two versions of our form available one being a compact version that reduces it to one set of fields combining shipping and billing in one.

Sure. Like I said you have 100% control over the html. You also have control over the head so you can link and run external scripts and css too.

Additionally our affiliate tracking system allows your affiliates to place third party tracking code and pixels on top of our tracking system for additional success tracking.

Hi Josh, I have 4 questions about Nanacast.

1. Can I customize the order form and the navigation into spanish?
2. Can I protect folders?
3. Are you guys continuously updating and improving nanacast?
4. Can I import an WP/Amember membership site with several products and members?

Thank you!

1. Not completely. You can translate form fields by editing them but not all the elements of the checkout page.

2. Nanacast is a hosted membership content delivery system... unless you are using our api which certainly could be used to do that. We will be adding this ability for remote sites soon though as a feature.

3. We have been since 2006. We have a full time 100% in house development team.

4. You can set up as many products and memberships as you want in Nanacast and then import members if you wish.

Any future questions please refer to Support - Knowledgebase or our desk.
