PRODUCT REVIEWS

I want TO upgrade to a VPS hosting solution, but I am worried that soem comapnies are overselling htese services. Can anyone recommend a company that actually delivers what it offers rather than those on a wing and a prayer hoping htat the custoomers dont actually use what is offered. I am not necessarily LOOOKING FOR CHEAP,BUT GOOD.

I have changed my servers four times this year and it is becoming tiresome

I've got a dedicated server at WiredTree - the do VPS also. Service has been phenomenal.

Knownhost is a good fully managed VPS host. Take a look at hostingtalk dot com for reviews on VPS hosting.

I've been using HostGator for a long time and have never had issues with it. It's a good VPS and the performance and network there are fast.

The service is also good - I can usually get someone on online chat within a few minutes and the support staff there is helpful.

The only drawback is the are a big company and I've noticed other Warriors have had troubles with them.

  I've been using hostgator for the past 4 months and don't have any complaints yet. The service has good speed and their technical support so far has been good. However they are not every body's cup of tea due to their size (large company).

I'm currently using hostgator for my shared hosting. Should I stay with them for VPS as well? Just want a nice VPS that includes cpanel.

We use servint.net, and their support is amazing. They have gone above and beyond to help us. Some times if we ask a tech question on how to do something, they offer to just do it for us. Not sure that happens all the time (my partner handles the tech side of things), but I can definitely vouch for them.

We use Elief.com and they definitely aren't cheap but they have some of the best support around and my VPS hasn't had any downtime since I upgraded to it(about 6 months or so)

I'm going to have to rescind my earlier vote of confidence in HostGator.

They've disabled my VPS now 3 times because of "billing issues" and each time I'm unable to get a reasonable explanation as to what the issue is or why their system can't seem to hold onto my CC# or notify me in advance that something is up.

So my VPS (which hosts money making sites) is down for 12+hrs. That's lost commissions for me.

I'm switching over to Blue Host because of it.
