Exit Splash vs. Virtual Smart Agent

OK, who has used both and what have you found in terms of conversion differences? I am using VSA with good success now, but think that with Exit Splash you'll get more people to actually see the exit offer.

With VSA they have to click a link in the chat box, with Exit Splash they are instantly taken to the exit offer page.
