Yes Duce, I used to develop products offline for 14 years before I hopped on to online product creation 4 years ago. As for the kick off, once we get 3 more we are good to go. We should initially start with a skype session and setting up of expectations. Then work from there. |

Ok, that's 5 of us here. It's now a GO! First, let us set expectations. For me it's to form a mastermind group that will help each other out whenever we can in their product development. Since we are still a new group then I recommend that we take baby steps like scheduling regular posts from everyone here that would contribute to product development. Later on we will progress to something deeper like helping in the review of each group members upcoming product. Then when we've grown roots then helping each other in the product development stage and even JV with each other can be possible. Here's the summary of my expectations from the group just to recap: 1. Schedule regular helpful posts on product development here. ---For sensitive posts, you may send it via PM to the group. 2. Help in the review of each group members' product ---Send us a PM so we can review it. For the meantime these are my expectations. If you agree with the two points above please confirm by replying. Also indicate your expectations below so we can discuss it. Thanks! ROD |

Hi, OK, I agree with the expectations and I read the posts about product creation. It's one thing to create a mindmap, but you would also have to know a lot about all the topics, in other words, do research and make notes. And there is always more than one way to do anything, whether it's keyword research or making videos with Camtasia, so how do you decide which method to put into a product? |

To be an authentic product creator, you must have tried the method you are creating a product on first hand. This is the secret to create products and the technique to automatically know which methods to put in there. Gather experience first so you can create products fast. If you create products based on research, it's also good but make sure that you go and do the steps/methods yourself to see that it works. Otherwise there's the danger of coming out with a crappy product. That's how I decide which method to put into a product. I put methods that I've had a first hand experience with. And this should be how it's done. If you are using PLR for quick product generation, again test the method to see if it will still work. Using PLRs will allow you to come out with products in just hours but again, there's the danger of losing your reputation as a product creator if you don't test it out first. ~ROD |

Ok Teekz, you're welcome. We now officially kick off this mastermind group. Presently, 6 warriors have expressed interest in the group and we are a go. We will all start with basic question and answer. So for those who have questions feel free to drop them here and we'll all do our best to help. When we're all comfortable with each other then we could start a skype group chat. Until then let's all share each others ideas and have a good time in here fellows Cheers! ~ROD |

What we can do here is if you are looking for a professional review of your product before you launch it, we can help. If you have a membership site and you want the group to check it out before you heavily promote it. We can do that as well. If you are in the product planning stage, you can ask us information on how to proceed, even without revealing the sensitive information of your plans. If you want professional guidance, you can also ask a group member to maybe coach you in skype depending on your arrangement. This thread should allow you to network with like minded warriors who are also into the product creation activities. Quote:

From what I have researched so far the steps are 1: find your niche online (forums, blogs, tumblr etc) - figure out if they are desperate buyers and what they typically consume 2: speak to them find out what their primary frustrations are, and where current products are failing dealing with those frustrations 3: create a low priced item helping them deal with their primary frustration and offer it to them( contact certain posters and giveaway or drive people to your page with forum responses complete with sales page in your signature) 4: approach the blog or forum and by ad space for significantly cheaper and place it where your target market visits 5: track CTR and front end sales for product viability, if it sells at a low price invest the time to develop a back end. 7: pay the most active contributors on the blogs and forums to have a link to your product on their signature 8: invest time and marketing into a larger scale marketing campaign Article marketing, blog posts etc. This is what I have Learned so far, if I am missing anything or am off base can someone let me know. |

I would like to participate, if that is alright. My experience with product development is rather limited. I created a free guide not too long ago called '7 Days to Happiness', hoping many people would flock to it because of its catchy title and that it fixes an issues! Beyond that, I know of one marketeer who has vowed to create one ebook a week, and she is doing well so far. Pretty incredible I think! |

Hi Princecapri, It's nice to know that you created a free guide. How's it going? By the way, I like your title, the first part is specific "7 Days to" but the second part is a bit general: "Happiness". Have you tried split testing it? Here's what you can do: Create at least two variations of your title and post it in the "TEST FORUM" here. See which one will have greater views then use that as the new title. ~ROD |

Hi Rod, Thank you for the response. Just to clarify (and I am relatively new here, regardless of the month/year on the right). Do I simply create two new threads on Test forum with two different titles, and see how often they are viewed? Or do I actually post the ebooks there too? Thank you for the idea, split testing sounds like a good way to test waters. |

Just to add something. You can also visit popular marketplaces and find out what's hot in there. This way you'll know fast which products are "in". You can also look at article sites and see which How To articles have the most views. This means that more people are looking for solutions on that particular niche. | |

Whew! I've been busy! I released two products this week. One is on product creation and the other is a service offering product creation. Things are going well and I'm about to launch my third offering tonight. The point here is, product creators don't run out of things to do and make decent cash in the process. So just to share some thoughts and ideas, here's what you can do when you go full-time as a product creator. 1. Create products for other internet marketers. This one is easy but only after paying your dues. You can't immediately go from zero to hero in 24 hours unless you've been studying internet marketing for sometime, you have a system, you have a partner who is an expert in the niche or industry or you have a mentor. If you just came up here and say, hey! I want to be a product creator..that won't happen in the next 24 hours. But if you say, hey! I want to team up with an expert in the niche, interview them and create a product for that, then you can be a product creator in a day leveraging the expertise of other people. You can also read a PLR extensively and test it in 24 hours then create a product from that. That is another path to being a product creator fast. But if you just dream about it and expect it to happen..you're in for a long haul. Now, when you know what to do, you can go ahead and offer your services as a product creator/ghostwriter. 2. Create products for yourself and launch your WSO I'm sure you are good at something. I'm sure you can do something that other people can't. Now write about it. Write 10 articles on how you are doing it best and what it takes for anybody to do the same. Then package that as PLR and list it via WSO. 3. Make money by listing your products on other markets. Once you've tasted success in your first WSO (no matter how many sales you've made, the fact that you've experienced selling a product is already a success) then it's time to move to bigger markets and price your product higher. Go to clickbank and list your product in JVNotifyPro to attract bigger affiliates. Cheers! |

Hi, "mystery person" (Rod) ! I PMed you about your one offer - I didn't know your name til I read further down in the thread ![]() I would like to be a part of this group as well - if I may. I am a prolific writer, but have not yet written my first ebook - I do have all the subject matter - just a question of 'compiling' it. I'm sure, though, that being a part of this group would only help ![]() If there is a fee attached to this offer, well,... we'll see - for a variety of reasons, I have not received a paycheck in nearly 5 months ![]() If I can't join you and the group now,... perhaps another time ![]() Please feel free to PM me ![]() Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all who responded in this thread ! ![]() Your friend in Christ on the net, Rev. I create one product a week and am involved in many other JV's. I have been full time online for about 18 months after spinning my wheels for a couple of years. If there is anything I can help anyone with within the group then I would be more than happy to do so. I think these kind of groups can develop and become very powerful. |

| Fast Way to Research a Niche Hi All! I wanted to start the year with something valuable and so here's a post on how to do niche research. 1. Look for the main keywords in the niche you'll go into Here are examples: Aircraft Spotting Airbrushing Airsofting Acting Aeromodeling Amateur Astronomy Amateur Radio Animals/pets/dogs Arts Astrology Astronomy Backgammon Badminton Baseball Basketball Beach/Sun tanning Beachcombing Beadwork Beatboxing Becoming A Child Advocate Bell Ringing Belly Dancing Bicycling Bird watching Birding BMX Blacksmithing Blogging BoardGames 2. Run your main keywords in Google Insight Google insight is a great tool. It will give you the traffic trend on a keyword for up to several years so you can see when the particular niche gets maximum traffic. When the traffic starts spiking and when it falls down. You can also see where the traffic comes from (what region) so you can decide whether to go after a keyword or not. You can also see the top keywords for a niche and the rising keyword searches. 3. Get the top site in the niche and find out the profile of the market Now search on google the top site in the niche and feed the URL or domain name to quantcast.com - quantcast will give you the exact profile of the people visiting the site including their age and spending capacity (their estimated yearly earnings) again you can use this to determine if it's profitable to go into the niche. You can go further and extend your research to include products to sell to the niche by going into Amazon's best sellers list. You can also further improve the research by using google's keyword tool. As for the product, you can look for affiliate stuff to sell or create your own using the fast product creation techniques offered in this mastermind thread. Happy New Year! |

I'm very interested in joining if there's still room. I'm new to the forum and internet marketing in general, have recently released my first product, and I'm interested in meeting and learning from others with more experience. As for my own experience, I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, so I've got some experience with physical product design/prototyping/creation. I'm willing to contribute in any way I can. |
