Starting a membership site newbie question

Hi Warriors and thank you for stopping by to help,

I don't know how all the 'back-end' stuff works to run a membership site.

I recently read a post by a Warrior who used WP's Wishlist plugin to create a membership site.

Today, I was just about to purchase RAP (Rapic Action profits) and read on their sales page, "Create Memberships Even Around Currently Existing Sites and/or Content, or Create a Multitude of New Sites! "

My question to you guys is, does this mean RAP does the back-end membership stuff for your site?!

Hi Marc,

There is a membership/subscription addon for RAP that takes care of all the membership stuff. Last time I looked at the site (which was quite recently) they were bundling RAP and the addons in together for ~$300.

In use wordpress to build my membership sites and then use WP Member which is $27 and works great.

Thanks Andy and Quentin =- Andy - do you know how much the add-on/plugin for RAP is? Wouldn't it be free as RAP updates are included in the purchase price?

Quentin, so the plugin you use is called 'Member'? If so, is it really easy to use?

I feel the easiest way to start off is aMember Pro -

Membership software - aMember Pro

Even though it's a little costly, it's definitely worth the cash! Hope that helps!

  Can you drip feed content over a period of time with RAP Membership Addon? Lets say I created a 4 month fixed term site, will it reset to day one for each new member?
