Well, I would say that answering questions like this is something which no one can help you at all anyway I would just say keep trying and try learning from your mistakes. Just knowing things doesn't makes you perfect we all are imprefect people trying to learn things at every part.

PS: I don't think questions like this are acceptable over here, as your question give a me a feel of personal questions. I would better suggest you to look out other forums where you can do that !

    Learn English.

    I'm kidding, but not really...

The fastest way to get up and running is to do some work for free and collect a bunch of testimonials.

I think in order to get a better answer here, people need to know more about where you are marketing your skills.

As far as what you should do? Without any information, it's impossible to help you improve. Are you just starting out? Do you have a success history? Did you just slap an ad up on craigslist?

What makes you think that you're well "precticed" in these areas? It's not about what you think you're good at...it's about what potential clients think you're good at. So if you're not getting hired, then it's because you're not proving that you're the best candidate for the job.

Where are you advertising. You have no signature here in this thread so why would anyone know what you offer?

Put an ad in Warriors for Hire section. Then put the link in your signature. Then contribute meaningful posts in the Warrior Forum (and not referring to your signature in posts, which would be against the rules).

I'd say start with the language, also if you could give details on how you have looked for work and how you have advertised your services we can try to help

    It's simple:

You are offering the wrong things to the wrong people. The people that are seeing your offer, no matter where it is, don't feel that there is enough value and so they don't buy.

What should you do? One or more of the following.

    1. Find people that will value what you offer. Find people that really need and want what you offer and go to where they are. Put your offer in front of them. This isn't the kind of thing where you can just sit and wait for the checks to come rolling in - you have to go get the customers, do a good job, and then the money comes.

    2. Change your offer such as pricing or services.

    3. Change how you explain your offer. English (assuming your market is English speakers) and copywriting skills would be important for this.

One of those should help get you off of zero.

Can you show proof of your previous work? I'd most likely want to see some of your previous results so I have a clue that you're well versed in what you are doing, especially if I can't meet you face to face. (Sorry just old school like that I guess). That really helps with building trust and credibility in the eye of another person, especially if you are half way around the world and communication/language gap can be a challenging thing to overcome.

What are you doing now to promote your services? Do you own a website or blog to show samples of your work or showcase customer testimonials? Are you marketing via a services website or via forums? It would help to know the answers to these questions.

        You need a portfolio.

To succeed on freelance sites, you need to convince people to hire you and show them that you're good at what you do.

If prospective employers have no way to see what you worked in past, they will seek other person. That's why, a portfolio is required.

If you don't have a portfolio yet, start on smaller sites, like fiverr or microjobs (there, tasks cost less and also the clients are less demanding). After you have created your portfolio, you can advance on sites like Freelancer, Elance, oDesk, etc.

As an outsourcer I think the key thing is your English level. I typically hire my outsourcers based on their command of the written English language first and foremost. Then from that point I prefer to take a look at the real world results and testimonials achieved by that worker.

So for someone like yourself, I say improve your command of the English language, gather some more testimonials from previous clients, and of course show more of your portfolio and successfully completed assignments.

    I hope this helps.

    All the best,
    Michael

You just need to find people who know less about it than you do. People who are just starting out too but know absolutely nothing about even basic internet marketing. Or people who have tried but have no idea how to build traffic. So ask yourself, how can I meet these people? Where do they go? Where can I find them?
