Build a niche site in a niche that you like, maybe a hobby or something and find affiliate programs there. This will be fun and its something you know about already. Make some youtube videos and drive the traffic back to your site while collecting optins using a squeeze page.

By method, do you mean a method of promoting? The type of niche?

As a beginner, I think the best thing you can do is read as much as you can.

IMO, the easiest-to-learn and quickest methods to build a sustainable income for BEGINNERS are:

      1. Building niche sites and placing Adsense ads on them (this is a set and forget method that will make you passive income for years)
      2. Niche site/YouTube video affiliate marketing (you can start making money very quickly if you build niche sites and post videos daily)

Be prepared to put in some work in learning one of these two methods and make sure you stick with only one until you see success.

There's plenty of free information on this forum to get you started. You will have success if you research, make a plan, and stick with it.

No offense , but sorry I personally would not go this route of niche sites and Adsense.

Adsense is too up and down . It is not reliable at all. Making a Site and doing email marketing is your best bet in the long run.

This is just an example of a niche blog/site.

Do you like gaming on a computer ? if yes, then start a wordpress blog. Make sure its a self hosted blog. First of all purchase hosting from a good host. I would recommend A Small Orange. You can use a coupon code "FACETWEET" to get 25% off: Once your blog is setup, write articles on best pc configuration, best graphic card under $100 , $500 etc, review computer components, write how-to-guides related to computer, windows, mac, gaming etc.

The trick is to include an Amazon affiliate links to each product that you mention in your blog post. People will click on your links and buy the product on Amazon. For each sale you would get 4% - 6% commission. Don't not expect the sales instantly, you will need to write quality articles, do proper SEO, promote it on social media. Do not stop, keep your blog updated with rich content.

"Depends"... cause you might just .... yourself if you think there's an easiest way, lol.

Honestly, and all kidding aside, one of the best things a newbie could do is open a free JVZoo affiliate account, and login.

    Go to: MarketPlace
    Scroll to: Top Sellers

Then, before you sign up as an affiliate to any specific product... go to their salespage or sales video page. Watch or read the entire presentation. (*Repeat several times, and simply look at the product from a buyers perspective.)

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING... Seriously, this IS NOT why YOU are going there!

Now, after you've watched or read (or both) 5-10 salesvideos or salespages... choose the 3 that caught your attention and made you wanna buy the product. (*Again, DO NOT buy anything)

Go into your affiliate dashboard, find their affiliate or JV offer, and apply (if they don't offer immediate approval) - be patient, most will respond within 24 hours or so.

Look carefully, at the entire sales funnel:

    Example:

    Front end $9.95
    Upsell #1 $97.00
    Downsell #1 $67.00

    Upsell #2 $197.00
    Downsell #2 $97.00

    Now, think about it.

These guys are capturing leads (*list building) with a 1-2 page sales funnel pre-sell

They are brain sucking copywriters, who understand marketing

They are recruiting other 'affiliates' to promote their goods

But, aside from all the money they are making, they are doing exactly what you will NEED to be doing to make money online, which is extensive amounts of research, work, development, and marketing strategies.

Now ask yourself; are you mentally ready?

Seriously, are you ready to put all the pieces together, because if you start blogging and have no interest in writing or start doing videos with little to no direction... you're likely gonna spend a ton of money, and get really freaking frustrated, and quit.

So, before you do ANYTHING or BUY ANYTHING... study sales-funnels, get on the email lists, watch the videos, see who's making HUGE waves, and learn from what they are doing. They are recruiting 3rd party salesmen to boost their sales exponetially... and THEY GIVE YOU ALL THE TOOLS THEY USE TO DO IT!

    So, start there!

Then, you can pursue any niche, in any market, and in nearly any buyers market... and get so deep inside your customers minds, they'll thank-you and pay you!

For the record, I'm not suggesting you focus on MMO, just use the knowledge these guys have to see behind the scenes. AS an affiliate, pay attention to the launches, and results.

Also, think of ways to use the tools, techniques, and copywriting styles in your future campaigns.

PS - An when you really really want a product, make yourself commit to selling enough in affiliate sales, to earn the product, as opposed to buying it! - You'll learn to make money, without spending as much.

So , I say...writing non-bias reviews, and include links to whatever products you choose to promote. You won't need any real credibility or authority to get started earning, especially, if you yourself WANT that productt!!!.

Just in case you were not already aware, your views are extremely valuable to many companies, and you can get paid a decent sum of money for taking the time to tell these companies about your opinions. This is called 'Paid Survey'

Considering how most paid surveys take just minutes and they can usually be done from home, on a standard PC, or these days even on iPhones and mobile phones while you might be sitting on a train or lying on the sofa, there could not be a better way to earn an honest and healthy income.

Its simple! Go to paid survey website, give your opinion by filling out surveys, and earn cash! That's it!

You can earn anywhere up to $5 - $75 per survey.

No, the people making the money on PAID SURVEYS are the ones suckering people to believe there's good money in it!

Seriously, do some research, and MOST surveys take a ton of time, multiple offers, and don't pay worth a crap!

Might ought go to ClickBank, and look at their affiliate programs for paid surveys...the ones making the money are the ones "PUSHING" them!

But, again, if you sign up free (as an affiliate) you see these things before you buy them, and you learn what's worth promoting, and what's NOT!

Almost every methods discussed boils down to affiliate marketing. Which is the act of connecting a buyer and a seller of a product. You (the affiliate) get paid a comission for the conection you made.

You can sell affiliate products over: email, website, forums, etc.
Even amazon has an affiliate product (and you know, on amazon you can buy pretty much anything)

So my suggestion, inform yourself what affiliate marketing is and select a product to promote, then start promoting with a website maybe?

Good luck and dont give up too easily!

    Hi Bob,

As a beginner, buy a self hosted Wordpress blog. Set a foundation for a fruitful career. Brand yourself. Brand your business. Stand out from the crowd by establishing your authority. I know niche sites rock too, as many Warriors know, but feel blogging makes you stand out from the crowd. Kinda like content central; you share content, inspiring your readers, promote offers, promote other niche sites, feature pros, do podcasts, webinars, etc, etc, etc.....but as a newer guy of course, you'd focus on reading, reading and learning and learning, then creating helpful content through your blog posts. Keep on learning, keep on reading and more than anything, make freeing yourself and your growing audience your motivator, your driver, to make this online thing pop.

    Onward and upward Bob!

    Tweeting from Bali.

I suggest focus on the following 3 major components:
    • Product
    • List Building
    • Traffic

    Then choose a business model:
    • Product creator
    • Affiliate marketer
    • Selling skills (writing, designing)
    • eBay seller

I've written a blog post on this topic, feel free to take a look:

Well, I'd say the business model with the smallest learning curve is probably ghostwriting - doing some research and writing content for other marketers. However, I'd say the most popular business model is niche blogging - creating a blog around a particular niche like dating, weight loss, toys, fashion, electronics...you get the idea and putting up blog reviews and articles about stuff going on in your chosen niche. Lots of people -- myself included -- like niche blogging because of the residual aspect (put up content once but continue to profit from it because of how the search engines work).

If you decide to build a list (should do), then, it will act as like a second income stream for you. Once people get on your list, you can mail to them over and over again -- kind of like how the big chains will mail out weekly circulars to people that they know shop there because they use debit/credit cards to pay and sign up for MVP cards to get deals.

I want to answer the question literally. Location is so important, and you need to find the best "place" where there are people that can employ you, teach you, introduce you to new people, etc. If you are meeting new people all the time, especially hanging out where there are people who run businesses or otherwise have money, you are going to hit on something eventually. The place could be church, the fitness club, running club, hiking club, the local pool, and more.

I've met several business contacts sitting at the jacuzzi telling people what I do.

    So Location, Location, Location!!!

For starter, I agree with building a niche website, adsense and many ppc might help in the beginning. While doing that, you should build your list, always have an opt-in page on your website or as pop up. Prepare a "bribe" for them in exchange for their email.
Active in the niche online community like forums or facebook groups. Read people's posts and comments. Reply whenever you can (meaning you know what you are talking about.) Build yourself as an expert in the niche.
It takes time, effort and money. Do not expect to start earning money by tomorrow.
    Good Luck.

Find a niche market that people are currently spending money.
Research pain points and problems the current market is having.
Match the problem to a solution that will help them.
Build a list around that market and be the preeminent expert.
Sell solutions that will help them.

Actually, it all depends on what you want to do.
You can do so many things online!
You can build and develop a website, any type of website, the advice mentioned in this thread is quite OK!
You could try freelancing, register on a few freelancing websites and sell your talent, whatever that is.
You can try affiliate marketing, you can try writing and selling books, there really isn't a perfect place to start for a beginner. Just pick one and see where it leads you.

I think the best place to start is find a mentor, which is what I should have done when I started. Back then I was too arrogant and I was convinced I could make a lot of money by myself. I was wrong. It took me many years, and it cost me thousands of dollars I couldn't really afford, but I finally realized I wasn't going to get anywhere without a mentor --- someone to tell me what to do, and show me how to do it. One of the first things he suggested was to join The Warrior Forum, and I'm glad I took his advice, because there are lots of experts here who generously share their knowledge and their time to help others. Hey --- you got some awesome replies to your post, didn't you? Keep smiling!

You got a few good suggestions here, but to make it concrete, I would suggest the following:

    - Offer something you're good at on sites like fiverr, seoclerks etc. As an alternative, you can bid on jobs on freelancer, odesk (now upwork) etc. That way you'll accumulate money.

    - At the same time, research. Will you invest that money into creating a product, perfecting your skills, building an online presence etc, it's all up to you.

    - Act on a decision made in the item above.

If you've got a product to sell create a landing page and do the same things. All you need is traffic and visits so never forget to post quality contents and promote your page.
