Internet Marketing has really messed with my mind :)

Hi All,

I'm setting here cracking up at myself.

I'm putting the finishing touches on a report and decided to take a break from the writing of it to design the cover.

I opened up PhotoShop and began playing with different actions and created some acceptable eCovers. I settled on the curved soft cover with the nice shadow and reflection. That's it, I loved that one. With my text and picture all in place I printed out my cover and thought what a great job I had done.

When It hit me, I had an "I'm brainwashed" moment.

You see, my report is not an eBook. Its a hard copy report I'm having printed and bound. I'm going to offer it as an introduction product when I restart my offline selling.

Have you gotten it yet???

I made a virtual cover for a REAL report. Why on earth would I need a virtual cover on a literal hard copy report. LOL at me.

Then as I looked at my cover, ya know what, this just might be an attention getter.

What do you think. Is this counter productive or not. My report with full page picture of the virtual cover. It is online related and a portion of it actually talks about online selling. And I have to admit I've never seen a book with a picture of the book as the cover. Virtual Reality? Ouch my brain hurts.

My best to you all,
George Wright

Hehe... you should have a picture of the report containing a picture of your report containing... and so on... mess with their minds

Seriously though, why not ALSO create a digital version of your report? Then you could charge $10 extra for the option of HARD COPY + DIGITAL COPY...?
