3-star content quality on Textbroker

Comrades, who is using Textbroker? How about their 3-star content quality? Is it worth spending a penny on?

Yeah, I've seen example text, looks not bad but that's hard to make final desicion based only at one example ...

Textbroker have some weird and wonderful rules for their authors and getting over 3 stars is really difficult from what I understand as apparently all articles are human reviewed (which takes months) and graded though from what I've seen the reviewers do not necessarily have a good grasp of English. 3 star authors tend to be okay there, I've used them or try somewhere like iWriter instead?

Lol seriously iwriter? Their worse than TextBroker. I refused an article because aside from it not making much sense when read it was clearly a copy and paste job done badly.

WriterAcess seems more price than Textbroker, but thanks anyway.

I applied to Textbroker probably 7-8 years ago and they started me off as a 4-star writer, which I thought was insulting since I already had a very strong portfolio. Then I realized that they started about 95% of their members between 2 and 3 stars, and that the only writers there with five stars were staff members with their own accounts. From the reviews that I read though, it's almost impossible to advance from one category to the next because they profit from having good writers at the lower tiers. Since the whole thing seemed completely corrupt, I never wrote for them or used the service.

So to answer your question, there are probably some awesome 3 star writers and there are probably some horrible ones too. It's a complete gamble because their system doesn't properly grade their writers for their abilities...it only looks at how much cash each writer makes for the company. So I'd personally avoid them but then again, I haven't even visited that site in a very long time. Maybe it's improved.

You could always try out a couple and see.

Personally I would suggest going four stars or, even better, going somewhere else (WriterAccess or a pro freelancer). Like so many other marketing questions, the best answer here is simply to test it.
