Cross Promotion Marketing

New to the forum...Let me know if there is another post that addresses this in detail.

I have been in business for a little over a year. Most of my product sells are generated via social media or live events.

I have been approached by another business that sells within the same niche market. They are interested in partnering with me. This will obviously become a cross promotion deal. Here is my challenge...I have generated a social media following of around 25000 while the other company has under 3000. My product's average retail price is $50 while theirs is $170.

On the surface this seems like it would be a much bigger opportunity for them to gain followers and sells. How can I make this a good opportunity for my company?

Thanks

With your list you are in best position to negotiate huge opportunity. I advise you to ask them the return of investment over their list. Then you calculate the approximately the number of people to your list which can make purchase and them you will smartly set what percentage you will ask them. Keep in your mind that if you don't be smart like this you will lose all things because after the deal , they won't need you to propose other products to your clients, they will get in this first deal the email, zip or complete address.
