Where and How to hire an Quality Ebook Writer?

Actually, I have outline of my ebook but as it's my first time and i am not good in content writing so i have decided to hire someone but don't know - what the things must be consider before hire an ebook writer? from where we can get quality ebook writer with in budget.

My second question:

can i get an Quality ebook writer in $200? If yes, from where?

Content writer need to prepare near about 35-module. Most of data (Almost) would be given by me randomly.

Results of discussion:

1. Go for iwriter/ Freelance/Elance or Warriorforum (WF is Recommended)
2. Do some research for hire an ebook writer
3. Can write partially ebook myself and partially by writer to come into this cost.
4. Some of you are ready to give me some good ebook writers who may work for me in this rate. So please provide me @bsloan101 and @internetmarketer1
5. must check experience (resume, references, etc.) qualifications (past work, education, etc.) and rating.
6. Then i may go with price and contract negotiation.
7. Go for words not for pages.

Thanks for all of your response. I love if you give me some well and good ebook quality writer name who can work for me in $200 (Ebook length will having most of things in pictures that's why it can be 70-80 page, writing work is quiet low) ( Niche of ebook is - SEO) so i think 15000 words is required to complete it and i want to know answer of 1 more question i.e

I need images in my ebook so it will cost me extra or what?

I have hired different ebook authors for different projects - some I found on elance or odesk, others I have found on this forum either in their signature or in Warriors for Hire.

Having an outline is a good first start, that will help in a few ways - lower cost (than someone who just posts a market or topic) and will result in a better, more focused work.

My approach is to outsource the chapters separately - getting a good ebook writer (that does some research, writes well and throws in some personality) will cost you in the neighborhood of $500-$1000 for your ebook depending on the length and topic.

However, what I often did when I was starting out was to outsource 2-3 chapters as long-form articles for $30-$40 and then wrote the rest myself. That gave me roughly 30-pages of outsourced material to which I added my own chapters which were things like introductions, interview transcripts, exercises/lessons, perhaps case studies or examples, etc...

By combining 20-30 pages of your own writing (a few long articles really) with 30-pages outsource you have yourself an ebook and can often spend in the $200 range in that case.

    Hope that helps,

    Jeff

  • If you have that much, I know there are writers on iWriter who are willing to write complete full eBooks for around that price range.

It all just depends on how many words you need, along with what kind of content you are looking to have made. There are definitely many writers who may be starting in this industry that may be willing to go for that kind of price.

Nowadays the popularity of the freelancing is increasing day by day. There are many freelancing market place also such as Odesk, Elance, Freelancer, Fiverr, guru, getacoder, rentacoder, Warriors For Hire or, something like these. You can hire from any freelancing market. It is not important which market place you are going to use. But it is really important which freelancer you are going to hire. You can get the excellent freelancer from the freelancing market. Before hiring any freelancer, you have to see their previous work history & feedback. The budget is $200, it is fully depends on the NICHE & how many page do you want. generally you may get a good book within this budget. Best of luck.....

Quality ebook writers are all over the place - even here on the forum. Do some research on a particular writer, and when you find one you want to hire, contact them and let them know what you need done. Some will give you more samples of their work. Start on freelance sites.

  • The WF is a great place to find good ebook writers, and you can either choose from the Warrior for hire section, or post your own advert in the hire section.

You're going to need to see some experience (resume, references, etc.) and qualifications (past work, education, etc.), especially for a book project. Outsourcing content isn't a simple matter of just "hiring somebody." You'll need to dedicate time toward vetting and weeding out the "i can's" and the "me too's."

Only then will you be ready for phase two: contract and price negotiation. Once there (you should have about three-to-four viable candidates at this point), don't go for the cheapest bid as it often accompanies poor quality, a late delivery, or a complete absence even among the top respondents.

At the very least, don't jump into hiring. Don't let the Internet marketing mentality rush you into a decision that you might later regret, because, believe it or not, you do NOT need to publish this book NOW.

You simply need to publish it when it's ready.

Look for "freelancer ebook writting" in google, and then see the positive or negative reviews of the freelancer. Go for the best.

    Good luck!

I have written most of my eBooks, but I have used Odesk before. The quality of the writer was good, however, I had to do quite a bit of editing. But actually I didn't spend but about $50 and it saved me a lot of time.

Don't say you want X number of pages. Say you want X number of WORDS. I don't know how other writers work but I suspect it is similar to myself in that we quote based on a word count because page amount can vary enormously. I recently got a book that was 35 pages long but the person wrote line by line and had way too much space in between. I think they would have been lucky to have 150 words per page.
I have seen other books that cram 500 words to a page.

      This is great advice.

But one thing to be vigilant of is filler content.

      2. is ebook would be full of images so it will cost me extras? if yes, at what extent it can be?
      3. or Do i need to add images myself?

This place is the best place to find a good Ebook writer in my opinion. Just go to the warrior for hire section, tons of great writers there for dirt cheap.

Since you are on Warrior Forum, the Warriors For Hire section would be a great place to start your search. Alternatively, you could check freelance sites for writers.

    Goodluck with your search.
