What's the best affiliate program? (In your own opinion)

Hello buddies,

I'm wondering, what's the best affiliate program in the marketing space?

I'd love to hear about your experience and results!

I'm not looking to promote anything at all, it's just an experiment

Cheers!

Seems a bit broad to be helpful. I doubt we could even agree what the best affiliate network happened to be.

Personally, I think the best programs are those with recurring payments-

    I choose Rakuten Linkshare.

LinkShare and CJ as always, but the quality of LinkShare's advertiser support is hard to ignore.

I see that you're new to the forum. Welcome. I'm a bit confused by your question. When you say you are looking for the best affiliate program, are you referring to an internet marketing program that teaches you how to make money online, or are you wondering what the best affiliate network is? Since I'm not sure which you're asking, I'll answer both.

In terms of the best affiliate network, I have used several, but I pretty much stick to Clickbank or JVZoo. However, I also promote what they call independent affiliate programs, where I get paid via Paypal. If you're going to do this, you really have to trust the seller, It's possible that you could get screwed out of a commission (only had this happen once).

If you're wondering about the best IM course to learn how to make money, that really depends on how you want to go about making money online. I'm a big fan of niche blogging and really like Affiloblueprint by Mark Ling -- really comprehensive and love the way it's taught. I'm also going to be picking up a course later today that's called Writer Help Wanted by Alice Seba and Ron Douglas that's all about the different ways you can make money from your writing - heard a lot of good things about it.

While it's true that not all affiliate programs are made equal, it's also true that the affiliate program you choose isn't what's going to determine your success. Instead your success depends far more on the value you bring to your users rather than what program you use to monetize that value. Selling books? Maybe Amazon is a good fit. Selling clothes? Cafe Press has an affiliate program. Music? Itunes might be what you're after. Or maybe you use multiple affiliate programs depending on what you're selling and where your users are located. (That's what we do.)

In the end though, if you don't give your users a compelling reason to use your services -- and to come back to you again and again -- it doesn't matter what affiliate program(s) you choose. You can make 8.5% of each sale, 15% of each sale or 75% of each sale -- but if you don't sell anything, you still make nothing.

Just an experiment? Are you doing a psychological test to see what type of answers a super vague question gets, or what precisely?

Yeah I's agree with others, this is a very broad question.
      There are many affiliate programs.
Each have their Pros and Cons.
It also depends on the niche.
Also you said that you don't intend to take action on any of the suggestions, nor are you specifying a particular situation or a niche.
So it's hard to suggest which one's the best.

Yup, I'm with everyone else, your question is so broad it makes it difficult to answer without going into tons of detail.

Do you mean the best affiliate program in the internet marketing space or do you have another niche in mind!

Affiliate marketing is great, for the most part you don't need a website or a list, even though you would be much more successful if you did have both!

Don't really know what else to add until you come back with a more 'specific' question ...

    Cheers!

The best affiliate program - hands down - is one that pays 100% commissions on a product that costs over 100 bucks, sends traffic to my page, gives me a site with great copy to get 100% click thru rate, and pays me immediately on every sale.

Porn and web hosting affiliate programs. These are recurring income affiliate programs. You get paid every month as long as the customer stays within the membership.

It's hard to top the tremendous marketing advantages that Amazon and Clickbank offer. You can market to virtually any commercially viable niche without having to go through hurdles andf hoops just to get approved.

The best affiliate program is what pays the most on your niche products. I tend to go directly to them (if they have affiliate tracking) instead of getting the offers through a third party network.

Clickbank is the well known and probably the most tested marketplace for affiliate marketing. Indeed it's near to be the synonim of affiliate marketing products.

    Jvzoo is good enough

CJ, MaxBounty, Peerfly etc are more professional and requires approval.

In my opinion i think Clickbank is a good place to get started. Simple because it pays it affiliates from 50% - 75% commissions on sales, compare to say Amazon that pays 4% - 8% commissions. For a beginner Clickbank should be a good deal.

To me the best ones are the ones with recurring payments.

Beyond that, it really depends on you.

You could have the best affiliate program in the world, but, if you cannot get people to buy it from your link, then it is for nothing.

I always tend to stick to products that I really believe are good products that actually help people.

I know this may cost me money, but, this is just me.
