What is the maximum price you can sell through Clickbank?

Hi there.

I'd like to sell one of my programmes through clickbank, but at the moment they have capped my price at $150.

The same programme sells through iTunes and Audible for $290 (spread over 9 weeks) and the physical CDs are around $500.

Does anybody have experience of selling higher ticket items through clickbank, and any suggestion of how to get them approved? I've put in a price increase request to them today and still waiting on a response, but appreciate any insights into how they make decisions.

    The default top price is $50.

    I've gotten as high as $197 by special permission.

    I don't know if that's the cap or not.

      Hi Richard,

      Don't know if it's like the definitive cap level or not, but I've heard the max is $200.

      Hope that helps- maybe you could sell a pared down version through clickbank and upsell the rest of the goodies?

    I have two accounts each with a cap at $250, which I was able to get by selling products under $50 with a low enough refund rate.

    Supposedly they will go up to $500, but I've been with Clickbank for 8 years and they still won't raise my limit above $250, without reducing my refund rate significantly, but a higher-than-average refund rate is a fact of life with Clickbank if you are in internet marketing.

      I haven't used ClickBank for a while so I thought I'd check.

      My limit is $500 (reduces to $250 for PayPal transactions).

      So higher limits are possible.

    I asked for $250 and they gave it to me.

    This was at least 9 or ten years ago though.

    I still haven't used it.
