Just install FF as an alternate browser and use it for a week. You'll see for yourself!

The thing is I already have it and couldn't say that I conciously notice any difference.

The add-ons are the only benefit I can find and it's said that IE has security problems. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen.

But I hate the interface of Firefox.

It's better than it was but I find any toolbars you install end up looking clumsy.

        Hmm..

I like firefox cause it's open source which gives it the ability for all those great tools to be developed and it will only get better from here on out.

As far as the interface is concerned, there are thousands of customization options. There are themes to make it look EXACTLY like IE if you really like that look and feel. You can really make firefox look like just about anything.

It's a fact that IE has security problems and worst off is that it's link to the core of your windows system. In the past using windows my whole system has been infected due to IE's security issues. Yes it's partly my fault cause I waited a week to do some update but I don't want to have to sit on pins and needles "serving" my computer every day hoping I have all the right updates before I use it.

If only everyone used it. Still about 50% of my visitors use IE, seems like only web savvy people will download it - all 1 billion of them.

I second that. In fact, that's what I did a little over a year ago. Now I only use IE for old .mht (internet archive) files that I've saved. If only I could find an FF plugin that'll open them I'd be a full convert.

Good thing FF isn't a religion, huh? Or is it?

I don't make theories, I just use the 3.0.13 version because I'm not superstitious. And I can't say any bad thing about it. So, I recommend the Firefox.

The latest version is Mozilla Firefox 3.5.2.. It is what I am using right now and I find it really useful.. It is faster than the previous MF versions.. I so guarantee.. I had difficulties with MF 3.4 so I stopped using it but then when this new version came out, I tried it out and it works really well.. You should too..

I had some random crash issues with 3.5 so I went back to 3.0 and told Firefox not to update. I'll officially update it when 3.6 comes out and even then I'll go to the version before that.

I'm always one step behind but it saves me time from being a guinea pig and testing their own software.

Did you get the Adapter for FF?

Go on the Roboform site, it explains it there and what you need to do, I had the same issue but it is sorted out now (however, I have not updated to the new version yet today, just getting around to it now).

        Cheers

I've been using Firefox for a couple of years.

Recently my 3.0 browser started to crash, a LOT. Got fed up and downloaded the new IE and the new FF. I am using FF right now hoping it doesn't crash because I'd prefer FF.

I love my firefox but there are some things that still don't translate to FF. when I send a newsletter through Affiliate window it requires IE6 or beyond. bugs me a bit when little things prevent you from using what i love.
