Setting Price for Digital Product

Hi Guys,

I am currently working on ebook. I am wondering do the veteran warriors set a price on it, or is something that you need to test out on your own?

Thanks,

I don't think there is just an exact figure. Why not consider how much YOU WANT want to win selling the ebook. A figure that's nice for your but also fair to your users. If your eBook has great value then people will pay for that no matter what.

Overall if you want a figure for an average eBook it could be $29. And when you put in on discount go for $19.99.

Not just veteran warriors . . . everyone has to set a price on their products.

And yes, it's best to try various price points, get prospects opinions, compare with the going rates of your competition, and keep track of your results so you're not just guessing as to what the optimum price might be.

    Good luck to you,

Check out comparable products that focus on the same topics.

    See what they charge.

Ask yourself if your product is distinctive enough as to warrant a higher price.

Also, if you're already a BRAND in a particular niche or sub-niche, this might justify a premium.

Depends what you want to achieve with your sales.

Most people here want to build long term businesses so their focus is building an email list that will help boost their next launch hence why many WSO's are cheap, ($7, etc).

Test price. After you put it out for sale, test different price points, and see which one makes you the most money, and which one is the one that you feel most comfortable with - when it comes to dealing with refunds and stuff.

    Thanks again fellow Warriors.

Right now I am using 9.99, apparently that us what Amazon uses for their ebooks. But I will also test this extensively.

I'd say setup your funnel, setup a split test and send some test traffic..

Test different price points on your sales pages. For example, have one sales page with a price of $17, then duplicate that page and change one thing..

    You guessed it...The price point

Now, when you run the split test half your traffic will go to one sales page where the price is set at $17 and the other half will go to the other sales page.

This way you can see without a doubt which price point makes you more money.

    Hope this helps,

You are the one who usually has to test the price out.

You could ask you Social Network following for opinions. Or maybe even ask some of the Warriors here.

You can also test different prices out. See what numbers people are buying more - and even clicking on the buy button. Different prices might increase or decrease conversions.

Just make sure you really pay attention to the value of your information - and price it accordingly!

    Keep up the great work!

    Thanks,
Pricing of your eBook is completely depends on its content and quality. I think you should research some other eBook provider and take a close look at their pricing. This will give you an idea to set up a price for your eBook.
