Warriors are amazing, Yet lots of HYPE, and I do appreciate that aspect too( As I used to do a Biz-op advertising nationwide (you call it "offline" now- Mail order then, or just classified advertising) and ran 50 million ads in Newspapers and rack Magazines (biz-op) and regular magazines that pulled well.

Now in my later years (only 45, come on now) I've been doing local advertising, co-op advertising and local lead gen for companies. However.....

I'm looking to start a blog and focus on content/ daily writing/journal posts in a fairly good niche.... Rural living, backwoods lifestyle, homestading, simple country life.....you get it...

I'm NOT looking to create a 'product' again, but focus on what I know/writing about those topics and flesh them out, video posts, audio interviews, etc. And the common affiliate links/ amazon links, and the such floating around the page.

But as a 'project of my passion and interests' and without excessive internet marketing techniques can I truly make $10-$20 buck daily??? REALISTICALLY?

This is NOT my main money maker, but it's a dumping of information, into content that I'm passionate about, and have alot of sources to pull from too (guest authors, producers, known writers, all in this niche)

Any amount of money is possible with the right approach. You'll need compelling content (text, images, videos, whatever) and a lot of traffic. I can't emphasize that last part enough. Traffic for this type of business model is key to earnings.

But if you already have some well-known contacts, getting that traffic shouldn't be too much of a problem. With access to a good network of already-trafficked paths (i.e. "known writers", etc.), $10-$20 a day is very doable.

Yep.....OFFLINE selling a booklet o making money from home, PRE internet! Using classified ads, and networks like NANI and all the biz-op magazines.....Physical print only....

Two step, write in, sent sales piece and order form with a mini catalog.......
Sent in cash, or check.....hell not even credit card then!

I get it, build a herd, and.or get traffic....... But content writing=money?? I get all the b.s. floating around the blog page enticing someone to click on something to get that affliate check, or doing a book review. Author profile audio/video interview.....Blah, Blah

Can it BE DONE with a simple content Done for you "blog niche" design for my niche tho....I see a bunch of warriors selling pre-done/ custom blog boiler plates.....

Can I just start with a content blog, and driving traffic?

OFFLINE, got that covered....online that's something else.

Not really, unless it's such an obscure niche that no one else is doing it yet.

I've been trying for years to get a couple of "personal interest and passion"-based sites going. Basically, the only way they will make meaningful money / generate a regular following is if you can get one of the established big hitters in that niche to plug you. Audience attention is already usually fixated on a handful of big sources for each niche and won't find you unless you're mentioned by them.

What you really need to pull that one off are a few articles, videos or some sort of DIY project that goes viral among that audience, to the point where the leading sites feel compelled to link to you.

Realistically, you've got a snowball's chance in hell for making a dime in that market with just blog posts and affiliate links floating around, no matter how many articles you can dump on it.

You're going to have to learn to use online/offline marketing techniques to drive traffic around the heavy hitters. If you were led to believe this method can work in such a highly competitive arena, then I agree you've been fed a bunch of hyped-up bulls**it.

Read some of the other blogs and publications in those niches, and how they are being promoted, then consider doing a serious rethink about your marketing strategy.
