Hey Warriors.

I just wanted to write a new info product but I was confused about the topic. Can you people please give me an idea of what to write about. I have the knowledge but its all mixed up and I don't know where to start.

Plus, I just got a diploma for web programming and now I was thinking of creating my first software so if you have any ideas about a new kind of software please let me know about it.

Thanks.

I find that it helps to start with a mindmap. Take the main idea of your ebook and put it in the middle. Then draw lines out with every little thing that you can think of to add to that topic. Each branch then can have more branches and so on.

    Love,

Write everything down and make a mind map like Shannon said. It helps me if i can visually see all my information.

I think the first question you should ask is: who am I writing for?

I'm no expert but I think it would be a bad idea to just write about something without doing some research first into the market. Once you identify who your target market is (who you're writing for), then find out what it is they want to know.

So let's say you want are interested in programming as you mentioned that in your post. I'm guessing you probably have some skills in several languages, but let's just pick one (it's always better to be specific), say PHP for example.

Now I would go and do some research on PHP programming and the types of things people are looking to find out. Google is your friend here. Search blogs, forums, yahoo answers, etc. See if there are any similar ebooks out there that look like they are selling (clickbank, paydotcom, etc). You want to see that someone is already having success with this topic.

With all this research done you'll probably find that you're getting a picture of the market. Let's say you find that it's newbies asking all the questions and they specifically want help with using PHP to create membership sites.

Now you get to the actual product creation part. Using all those questions you found earlier and your knowledge of the topic (or someone elses, no reason you can't outsource this kind of thing), you get to writing. And here I agree with the previous posters, mind-mapping is great idea.

Perhaps you can turn each question you found into a mini chapter. Or maybe another structure might suit, the important thing is that you are answering the questions your target market is asking.

So there you go, in short it's:

      1. Find a group of people
      2. Find out what their problem is
      3. Write a book giving a solution to the problem
      4. Show them you've got a solution to their problem
      5. Payday

      Hope that helps!

      Cheers,
      Ben

I have been thinking of a software to
tick several emails in my inbox and then
forward to my chosen alternative emails.
Bump, all the selected emails will
    automatically be forwarded to
    my alternative emails.
But i dont think this software will be high in
demand...maybe its only me that need it

    Hi,

After you have done your research into your market, begin your writing by using the mind map method as described above.

    Then begin your wriitng.

A basic format for the order of writing (or presenting) is:

Tell them what you're going tell them.
    Then tell them.
Then tell them what you've told them.

    Good Luck
