What Phone Do You Use with Skype?

Trying to completely break away from my Local Phone Provider and plan on going with Skype for voice over IP. Which phone do you guys recommend? Is there a phone adapter you would recommend so I could still use my current phones (with the Skype number of course)? Is there a phone that you would recommend that doesn't require my PC to be on in order to use it? Thanks!

    I use a GE phone for this...hooked to my Samsung NC-10 (awesome mini!)

    The phone setup is ok...works with a regular line as well as a Skype account...

    The phone I have is here:
    Amazon.com: GE - Skype - Certified - 2 in 1...Amazon.com: GE - Skype - Certified - 2 in 1...
    Now, over in Europe, Skype has a lot more options...
    This one does require your computer to be connected...

    I'm sure there is a more advanced option than this...but it was about $70 at Walmart a couple of years ago...

    Does it have to be a phone? I use a $20 headset and mic combo from Wal Mart for my Skype. Works great as long as you have a high speed connection.

    I used to use a headphone set with my home computer running Skype on a DSL connection. That was a hit or miss depending on network congestion and the placement of my microphone that was attached to the headphone. Most of the time it would cut out and cut in while I was talking.

    Then I got an iPhone and started using the Skype client from the app store. As long as I was near a free wifi connection (at home, or a restaurant, or school, etc) the call worked just as good as a normal cellphone call. I was very impressed and I highly recommend the iPhone with Skype to save on long distance charges.
