Hey there
call me silly but when i was visiting some site somewhere i took up a cpa offer for natureberry and vitality clean i signed up to free trials (gosh i feel sorry for people now) AND got sent the free trials...then two weeks later they took out $150 for each product and I managed to find a snail mail address and have written to them, they're hard to find contact information about. Now i checked my credit card and they've just taken out another $300 a fortnight after the last lot of payments. im in australia, i'd appreciate any help any of you can give me in getting these payments stopped urgently - that's $600 in the last fortnight. thanks in advance. colleen |

This type of thing happened to me before and I got my money back through my bank. Obviously the CPA company is making it as hard as possible to cancel this subscription. Ask your bank or credit card company to do a chargeback on the $600. Tell them you did not authorize the charges. The CPA company has to produce your signature to show that you authorized the charge. And obviously they don't have that. If it takes too much time to get that done, at the very least cancel your card before they charge you again and have a new card with a new number issued.

Gosh that's a horrible thing to happen - I really hate those free trials. A friend of mine fell for one of those Google kits and ended up having to cancel her credit card (she was billed for $$$'s as well).
I came up with these two numbers but no guarantee they'll work as those two products seem to have disappeared off the radar. Viv3 Labs: 0044 2031399027 (vitality clean) FWM Laboratories Phone: 866-870-0692 (natureberry) |

Wow sorry to hear that Colleen, I was going to sign up to one of the colon cleansing cpa offers to see what the product was like before I promoted it - I won't be trying it or promoting it now if this is what my customers can expect!
Yes try a chargeback, although my HSBC card has just changed their rules on chargebacks making it harder for people to do them. Also look up the whois info and see if you can score anything there. Your bank is the one who can help you the most. Ask them if you can have a fresh card, maybe the change in expiry date which you'll get with a new card means they won't be able to process payments, if they use your old expiry date when they process another payment maybe it will get rejected... (I have no idea but worth a try!). |

Has anyone seen the plot?

This is so disappointing and should be a lesson learned for all of us. The best thing is to ask assistance from your bank and they will make the necessary procedures in tracing these charges. A charge back may be possible if they can not provide supporting documents to the transactions charged on your card.

It's stories like this that are the reason I mostly don't ever try to make money with CPA.
Most of the offers are scams that rip people off and end up terrorizing them and trashing their life to some degree. How people can promote stuff like this and still sleep at night is beyond me. It is a bona fide scam, no other way around it. I'm glad to hear the govt is cracking down on stuff like this more, because it shouldn't be legal to do what these companies do. |

Cross selling like this will be the death of internet marketing through CPA like it killed adult. I am sorry to hear you had this issue. Millions of people have the same problem and visa/mc/amex do nothing.

well i was on the phone to my bank who were very help. they're going to be putting in a dispute for me and putting a chargeback....and seeing what happens.
the upshot is i've had to cancel my credit card (right royal PITA that is with all my subscriptions etc), will get a new one in about seven weeks, as my savings account is connected to that too I'll only be able to get money out from a teller rather than ATM. and looks like the companies are from cyprus, according tothe bank. Usually there are warnings on the page that if you dont cancel your trial your card will be further billed. its unlikely that there was no small print or any information about canceling the subscription.
Also it wasnt the CPA company that billed you it was the company selling the products the CPA company is just a middle house for affiliates and the product company the CPA company has nothing to do with your card being charged I would go back on the page you visited and try to find some sort of small print about canceling the trial. |

Happened to me also. Had to cancel my credit card and never did get the $300 back. These offers are nothing but scams.
