Hey friends;

Would you place a BAD ass tempting product that customers crave, as a bonus along with the main product or as a separate upsale?

    George

    I know you want to know all the answers but you have to Test and see ! what others tell you may not work in the niche you are in so in the old days this type of thread would have either been nuked or mostly ignored

    The best thing you can do is test

    You should test them first.

    Whichever you decide to do make sure you don't compromise the quality of your products. It's hard to find a loyal customer so make sure to give the best service that you can give.

    It depends on
    1. the potential conversion rate (given a specific sales page, price, reputation of the merchant, etc.),
    2. the ability of the affiliate force to pre-sell the product, and
    3. who knows how many other factors

    It also depends on all of the above factors for the secondary product.

    Lastly...
    neither of the above might be the better choice.

    It might be better for you to offer the secondary product as a stand-alone offer at some later time, to the buyers' list you develop from the sale of the primary product - and there are a slew of different strategies you might employ for that separate launch of the secondary product.

      If your intent is to increase conversions and solidify sales, then I would suggest using a "tempting" product as a bonus with a high perceived value, rather than as an upsell.

      For example, in my own experience this method can work exceptionally well with Clickbank for initial conversions as well as effectively dissuading refunds. IMO, any subsequent upsell would have its own relevant bonus
