Real Estate Lead Generation

Hi all,

Brand new to the forums, and I've been doing a little digging around online trying to find other like-minded individuals and came across Warrior Forum.

I am a licensed Realtor who got tired of Real Estate, but I still very much enjoy generating the leads, and allowing other Realtors to take it from there.

I used to do a high volume of ads on Craigslist before they reformed the HTML rules, and enjoyed some moderate success. Since then, my performance just isn't what it used to be and I'm trying to find alternate sources of business that others have had success with.

The focus on my advertising now is foreclosure list lead capture for Real Estate, which is getting me about 2 leads per day.

Is anyone else having success with Real Estate leads? Any advice?

Thanks Ahmed I'll take a look. I'm in Canada so I know we don't have Zillow and I'm assuming by the name Rentlinx is specifically for Rentals? I'm doing re-sale and new construction real estate lead generation.

Ahh Ok.. yes rentlinx is only for rental props.. and all these 3 websites are more effective for US market.. Try Kijiji... its a good source for real estate lead generation in Canada..

Yes I run several ads on Kijiji at all times, though to be honest in my market (Greater Vancouver) Kijiji is not very widely used - it is more popular in Eastern Canada. Craigslist is King here, but I want my nets in as many ponds as I can find.

You should definitely do Facebook ads! You can laser target people by location, how much they make and literally anything you want! Plus, you can retarget them at the same time so that they continuously see your stuff!

It's probably the best form of marketing available today! I hope that helps and good luck

Hi Matt, thanks! I have heard some Realtors having success with Facebook ads but I've always been a little skeptical. I do know about re-targeting and the ability to really refine your audience so I can see how if done correctly it can be powerful. I may simply need to find out more information about how to do it so I'm not throwing money away.

      Appreciate the post!

Ad posting site is more good for you. You need to know the terms & conditions of any site, if you wish to use that site. here you mentioned that you used the Craigslist. So you need to read its Terms & Conditions before making any post. Such as the Craigslist does not support posts with the same content or, same picture again & again. If you do this, your post will be flagged & your post will be deleted, if you do the same things again & again , you may be banned from this site. Thanks for your advance.

Yes my ads on Craigslist are in direct violation of their terms of service, and I know this. I have about 10 accounts that I use, and several are currently shut down for this very reason. In terms of what I'm doing Craigslist generates 9 leads for every 1 lead of the other sources combined, so at this rate I'm better off "fighting" bans. I have had a little success with posts that DO follow the terms of service but again, not nearly the success of my lead capture redirect posts.

I put a lot of money into Google AdWords and didn't see a return. I know it can be used effectively, but I find that in my Market there are too many Developers with deep pockets, throwing money at Google for leads and I'm not willing to pay that much money for clicks. I know there are less common keywords for example, but based on my experience and the hole in my bank account I'm trying other avenues.

      However, I appreciate the post - thank-you!

I have two customers in the last 6 months who are doing well in professional lead capturing and selling the leads (or getting commission off them). Its a very good business since the ticket items are high priced. They are getting a good chunk of those leads from SEO - buyers/customers actively looking for what they have.

We have had insurance, real estate , legal and other high pay contract professions. You are on a lucrative track. Craiglsist is just one place people look.
