As an internet marketer, the most important indicator of your site growth is increased traffic. If the content of your blog is strategic but you have not been receiving traffic, could these ways lead to increased traffic?
1. Advertising your blog with similar but popular blogs
If your blog is mainly dealing with making money online, go ahead and advertise it on similar online making blogs. Make sure the blogs are popular and receiving high traffic.
2. Online forums participation
Look for online marketing forums and be a participant. Nevertheless, it is important to participate in forums related to your blog.
3. Submit articles to online directories
It is the best technique to increase targeted traffic in your blog for a long lifespan. All you need is to write interesting and quality information, submit it in online directories but keep your resources box in mind.
4. Keywords rich content
By making sure the content of your blog is rich in keywords. Keywords will help your content move up the search engine listing. As a result, you will get increased traffic.
Apart from these ways, are there other successful techniques that you might have used?

My own personal experience is that online directories provide little or no targeted traffic.

Maybe 10 years ago this strategy worked to a minor degree, but Google and other search engines slapped online directories silly!

I think submitting to them in today's environment is mostly waste of time compared to other things you could be doing.
