PLR e-book reselling business model?

Hi, I am planning to re-sell plr e-books and market it through clickbank and direct linking using bing ads. Are there people (still) doing this?

Sending traffic directly to clickbank using bing ads do not work in my opinion. You will hardly get any sales this way. You need to first build an email list and then promote your plr.

The CPC for keywords related to PLR ebooks on Bind Ads will be at least $0.50 and you'll struggle to make any profit, even if you direct link.

If you use a landing page, the conversions will improve, but you'll still lose money, because you can't afford to pay half a dollar per click and make say $20-30/sale or whatever your Clickbank commission is going to be - the numbers simply don't add up.

Why don't you find an existing PLR ebooks product on Clickbank and try to promote it via Bing? That will answer all your questions.

The problem with PLR ebooks is they're not unique unless you do a lot of rewriting and add to them. If one looks hard enough, they could probably find the ebook you're trying to sell for free, or at a much cheaper price.

A better way to go would be to write your own original ebooks and sell those.
