Are New Internet Domains Effective In Marketing????
As you may or may not know, there were a bunch of new internet domains made available. Instead of only having .com, .net, .gov etc. available for the domain of your website, you can now use .botique, .attorney, .bike, etc. as well as an assortment of others (the most comprehensive list I could find was here:

I guess the purpose of this is simply to expand the internet, and allow websites to become more focused on direct objectives, which to me seems to make sense. While originally the few select domains might have sufficed, it seems the internet has grown to such a point that it is reasonable for new domains to be introduced. I imagine it will help internet users and goers€”and let us be honest, these days that is really everyone€”be more selective when surfing, and could potentially make web searches even more precise.
Anyone have any experience with these new domains? Anybody had any success using them in business or to market your company? Any experience or research indicating whether or not they are better for search engine optimization?
