Major Issue with Member Mouse

I just started using MemberMouse but it seems if a customer already has a membership, is is logged out, and tries to buy something it forces them to enter their password on the form where they enter their credit card details.

I think most of my customers won't remember their password from whenever their last purchase was, and will therefore have to jump through a bunch of hoops to reset it before being able to buy.

It would be much smoother if they could just enter their email and credit card to buy without a password.

Can anyone recommend a good WP membership plugin that doesn't have this problem?

Does anyone know (based on real experience) how much this "feature" will actually affect conversion rates?

Best,
Brian

I'd love to sell you a different membership system, but...
I don't think your problem is MemberMouse.

It sounds like you've put your sales page INSIDE the membership, and (by definition) anything inside the membership will be password protected.

If you put your sales page OUTSIDE of the membership (i.e a different, non-subordinate folder) there should be no login requirement before the sale.

If your offer is "for members only" then placing it inside the membership is appropriate and login would/should be required.

The sales page is outside the membership area.

But if a user already has an account (because they bought something before), then they need to enter their password on the same form where they fill out their credit card info.

This is because they already have an account and membermouse is requiring them to login to add the new product to their account.

        I don't understand...
HOW does MemberMouse know that they already have an account, if they are not logged in at the time?

MemberPress is 100% the way to go... nothing beats it for membership sites.

Did you search the MemberMouse Support area? Or Google? Because within 3 seconds of a Google search, I found the answer.

Since this forum doesn't like links that help users, I'm gonna have to ask you to go ahead and Google it for yourself.

Search for the following in Google.

"Allow Logged Out Members to Make Purchases"

Yes I've read that, and no it doesn't say anything about letting them purchase without entering their password.

I believe you may be able to do that with DAP (Digital Access Pass).
They assign user ID based on email address, so as long as your
member uses the same email address when buying a new product,
they will get access to all their products in one place.
You can verify this by calling or contacting their support.
    I hope this helps.

Thanks. That sounds like a much better system. I decided to go with ClickFunnels for now, but I'll keep DAP in mind for the future.

I'm have been using Amember for over ten years and it is a dream come true. Non of the others, that people have mentioned, included follow-up marketing or recurring payments. That really has added up over the years.
