How Does Commission Junction Payments Work?

I can not figure out cj for some reason. When do you get paid? Does it depend on the advertiser? Also how do you determine your commission rate and what does EPC mean?

    CJ pays once a month, but you have to have accumulated at least $50.00.

    Each advertiser determines their own commission rate.

    EPC = Earnings Per Click
