Facebook conversion pixel question

If I create a remarketing campaign on Facebook and the conversion pixel is on a thank you page that also gets sale traffic from other sources (such as organically) will it fire the conversion pixel every time someone reaches that thank you page, or only when clicked from the ad? I'm trying to avoid inflating the conversion numbers in Facebook. Thanks!

    No, it doesn't fire the pixel that way. The pixel is encoded in a way that it identifies traffic coming from your ads only. While it might show as firing up when you use pixel checker extension for chrome, it won't record it as a conversion. Hope that helps
