It isn't, but Windows servers (aspx) is definitely in the minority, so there isn't much of a market.

Also, the bulk of Windows based servers on the web are used by medium/large businesses, so it is a very different market and the sales cycle is much different.

Agree... every aspx site I've seen was a large site and most likely the majority are outsourced to skilled developers.

The thing with Wordpress is that it is very easy to get started with. Most solopreneurs are going to go that route.

Like Sid Hale said, Microsoft stack is used by mid to large sized businesses. If you want to check if there is a market, what I would be doing is contacting few medium sized businesses who you think would have a need for such a software and checking their responses.

    Just a thought.

    Sumit.

Mike its hard to tell from that line what you are referring to. If you are referring to older asp thats dying out or .net core which is the future of asp.net

.net core is NOT windows only and as such is NOT a MS stack. It runs on linux, mac etc and is no longer MS product base only.

Of course there is a market for any good software. On WF people know very little else but wordpress but in the larger market people are not as limited. `

WP is popular because of its simple interface. People will use anything that accomplishes a goal with a simple interface. So provided you have a nice , simple sleek interface that helps people achieve what they want to do they will not care if its WP.

    Proof?
This site (WF) is not done with wordpress, neither is Facebook. PInterest or instagram (which uses primarily python not even PHP). In fact none of the major apps people use everyday are powered by Wordpress except well.....wordpress.
