This can be your own name, your products or services or your competitors. Promote your product and wait for Google Alert to tell you about your announcements. If you get an alert, you know your efforts are working.

You can see lots of social networking and book marketing sites further down in this resource section.

Resources – Public Domain

As you know by now, the public domain is essentially a huge network of copyright-free resources that are literally at your disposal to use as you wish (within the bounds of law, of course).

Library of Congress Home – The Library of Congress is perhaps the greatest reference resource on the Internet, and, as such, is a gold mine for public domain works.

The Online Books Page – A large collection of free online books from UPenn that you can use immediately.

The WWW Virtual Library for Theatre and Drama – Virtual Theater contains an online repository of free plays that you can use.

Literature.org - The Online Literature Library – Literature.org is the literature website on the Internet. You can find all sorts of classics here. Who knows, maybe you could open a publishing house for old philosophy texts.

http://www.archive.org – The Internet Archive contains a digital library of Internet sites (includes audio and video resources as well).

http://www.Ibiblio.org – A self-proclaimed public’s library and digital archive. The site contains links to other public domain resources as well as an excellent collection of resources as varied as arts, geography, history, language, science and a lot more. This is a must-visit public domain resource.

Internet Public Library: Books – The Internet Public Library is a virtual library on the Internet. Very extensive public domain resources.

Main Page - Gutenberg – Project Gutenberg is a de facto leader of the public domain movement, this is a huge collection of online public domain works. The books can be easily downloaded, and despite what Internet marketers might tell you, this is a top-notch resource.

Wikipedia:Public domain resources - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia – Wikipedia is a free, reader-maintained encyclopedia.

SearchGov.com – SearchGov.com helps you search all .gov (government) websites for the topics of your choice.

I recently had an optin page made for me- with another fellow warrior- and I tried to get aweber- but they only accept credit cards!!!

I don't have a credit card, and they don't take paypal... so then I looked around at other email options- and it was the same thing for other companies as well... they also did not take paypal.

I know hostmonster offers a free service for this, but I am not sure even how the service would work- or if all the emails go into the spam box.

but do you know of any other services like aweber, which may take paypal?

I think I would have been a lot happier if the resources had been lists of websites, not including websites to people providing services.

somehow that just rubs me wrong. Maybe it's because I would run to the far ends of the earth before using at least one of the aforementioned service providers.

And that's kind of the point -- when it comes to service providers, people's experience can vary widely, and it's much more of the "personal click" thing.

The best autoresponders i found with paypal payment is norabots, the rest is 1stautoresponder,

They are accepting paypal payment subscription, it around $ 6 - $ 9 /month
