Guys, I realize a lot of you already know this but, for those who don't, Alexa rank is a complete and utter sham. It's completely and utterly unreliable. For example, here is a screenshot of yesterdays alexa rank for my new site, 2 days old that received about 40 visitors from sphinn yesterday: http://img376.imageshack.us/img376/6822/picture11c.png Alexa rank yesterday was 54,975... with 40 visitors from this: The Real Purpose of SEO . I've got sites that have been doing 2,000+ per day for 12 months that are in the 1,000,000 ranges. |

We already know how useless Alexa.com is ... There is no stats program out there that can track your servers actual visits, not even google. The only thing that can track your visits 100% properly is the raw access logs of that server. With that said I think you should have said alexa.com in your tile and not Alexa.. Alexa is a nice sweet girl and I think calling her unreliable may get her a little upset ... James |
