Well I have my own domain name seansupplee.com however for the life of me I am trying to figure out what to do with it. I am kind of leaning towards a very professional wordpress blog to run on it. But should I make it an everything blog or target it to internet marketing only?

Or should I go with some other idea for the domain? Suggestion and input please thanks

I wish I registered tomlindstrom.com when it was available.Someone else has it now

In your case, why not setup a blog.It makes a good income stream over time.

Remember that this site carries your name and, as such, when people search for you in google, they will find this site. With that in mind, I would recommend you ensure the site is extremely professional and conveys the exact image you would like to have for yourself.

Can you give us a little more information? It seems you are being too general with your question. For instance, are you interested in starting a blog that will promote products? Do you wish to sell advertising on the blog? Are you wanting to use the blog to drive traffic to other websites?

I am not an expert, but I think answering these questions will help you to decide where you wish to focus your time and efforts. Also, providing this information will allow others to provide the input you may need.

The plan I have in mind right now is to take my professionally designed logo for my name... Sean Supplee Logo

Get a professional Wordpress theme done around the logo

Blog about some affiliate products, reviews etc on products I have used also give out helpful information for free, Opt in box for aweber and RSS feed subscribe as well. Site will contain no adsense but instead will sell 4 boxes on the side of 125x125 pixels

Does this sound like the right route to go with my name on the domain. Like John said its my name and the first site people are going to see so it needs to be as professional as possible.

Or should I go with a general site which promotes all of the sites and products I have created so far? *Figured I could do that via the wordpress blog though.

Thanks for the input and help thus far

Like it has been said, keep it professional.

How do you plan on driving traffic to your site? Monetizing it is great if you can get the traffic there.

        Good luck,

        Kevin

I have bought a domain with my name in it (kimkitchener.com), which I am giving advice on adsense and SEO. The only problem that I have found is when putting adsense on my site the ads often show up related to my name and not my content.
e.g I get ads related to hotels in Kitchener Ontario.
This sometimes makes my sight look unprofessional.
