Default Are You Using RSS to Build Traffic?

I would like to use RSS to build traffic.....Just a few questions for those who understand how to use it properly.....

~ Should I submit each category from a website separately?

~ Should I stagger the RSS submissions? If so how many and how often?

~ Do I need to update and resubmit the same RSS at a later time when I add another post?

~If my site does not contain an RSS feed, is there a simple WP plugin or something to make one?

~ Should I make and submit feeds for individual articles such as articles I write at eZines?

Thanks all!

I get some traffic from my feeds. The traffic you get from feeds comes from people subscribing to them or aggregating them on their own sites, not so much from the submissions themselves. Getting your RSS out there is the easiest way to get a lot of backlinks fast.

~ Yes, submit each category separately. This helps you get aggregated by people searching for feeds in those categories.
~ Not sure what you mean by "stagger" the submissions. Every time the feed is updated, services should be pinged asap.
~ RSS will be updated automatically each time you submit a post.
~ WP creates feeds automatically.
~ If you think you're going to have a lot of comments, create a comment feed for each article. Otherwise it's redundant.

Hope that answered your questions.

I mean should I submit to a dozen or so RSS sites all at once or is it better to spread it out.
Can I have trouble with google submitting to too many RSS sites?

Also does it make sense to make an RSS feed for ONE ezine article?

Thanks!

You can make an RSS feed for your ezinearticle author name. Everytime you submit a new article, your RSS is updated.

Just publish all the RSS feeds you can find as fast as you can. This is natural. It is also several softwares that can help you. Look into the WsO forum
