Why is my site loading so slowly? Urgent advice needed!

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey guys,

I'm not much of a web designer but I've been working hard on a new index page for my website all week. I've finally got it to the point where I'm happy, yet it seems to take an age to load in Internet Explorer...It loads instantly in Firefox though, weirdly enough.

Any ideas as to what would be causing it to take so long to load?

Tom,

It loaded instantly for me in IE 8.

It may be your ISP is messing with you

It loads immediately in both Firefox and also IE

Ahhh well that's a relief, maybe it's just my PC/Connection then.

It loaded in less 10 sec for me.
Maybe you need to clear the cookies and history from your computer.

It loads well at FireFox and Safari (Mac). Try to update your browser to the most recent patch or update.

Sorry I don't think so.

Please take a look at the loading image in firebug:

Images are too big so I put the link here.

Points worth notice:
1. There are 3 files which are not found
2. Your statecounter javascript file, for some reasons it does not load very fast, but it may be an accident.
3. Please consider not loading all those mp3 files, even if it is small...
4. Consider reduce the number of flash files, use compressed image instead
5. Consider combining all your javascript into 1 file
The key point is, try to reduce the number of files loaded into your website. Strongly suggest you to remove all those audio-player/music player things.
