Would you buy a serverside tool that is not in PHP?

I'm considering taking a set of automation tools I have for my marketing work, wrapping it up and putting a nice front end on it, and selling it as a product. I have already validated that there is a market for it, so productizing is a no brainer for me.

My big question is: Since most of this is NOT in PHP, will that be a problem for sales? It is predominantly done in Python, so almost every webhost will have support for it. But it isn't PHP

So if this was a tool you could use, and you didn't have to know Python to install it, would the fact that it isn't PHP dissuade you from the purchase?

    Does it really matter what it's written in as long as it works?

    Phython is really nice code, I am surprised more people don't use it.

    Depending on your market they may not know Phyton from
    Fortran.

    If it's a great product that people need it will sell.
