I recommend video marketing with animoto, use the 1 click remix and every 10 videos you remix add a new picture or new message to the text. Try to make it a goal to get 300 videos on youtube by the end of the month. You will get plenty of traffic. Another way is go to a popular blog in your niche and comment by giving value and not spamming. You can get instant traffic like that. Another way is forum marketing, go to the forum and answer questions to build your follower base to whatever website you have. People will thank you for that.

I like Brian's idea about animoto. You might also use Fiverr. Have a few people make videos about your site for you. Then have another person from Fiverr upload your videos to video sites. Then have another person from fiverr send traffic to your videos. You can actually get a lot of work done for less than 50 bucks.

no sarcasm intended, just curious. does having more views help them rank higher, etc?

Some people Know how to get easy traffic don't want a share they keep making money and more and more and you never hear those guys around !

first you need to know what will be sacrificed, money or time? If you have money you can buy traffic, traffic tools or something like that to get targeted traffic. But if you have time only, then you can go with free traffic generation. SEO, forum marketing, etc.

YOu have to know first which one you will go for, then you can dig down into more details utilizing this forum.. warrior forum helps a lot bro.

Traffic is a result of advertising, the very last step of the marketing cycle. This implies that you have all other components of your business plan in place. Make sure all your systems are in place before you drive traffic. When I was new, this was my biggest mistake. I drove traffic to places that had no business receiving traffic. Just a friendly tip

Hey Buddy,

Don't be frustrated. We all were in your shoes. Kindly track your traffic from the beginning so that you will get an idea which mehtods is giving you the best result. Then concentrate on 2-3 best profitable methods instead of doing everthing.

You can use google analytics to track your website else your hosting cpanel also gives you the detailed report. Tracking is very important, honestly speaking I was not bothered about tracking when I started my online career and I spent countless money without knowing the traffic source. Kindly never do that mistake and also there are plenty of methods to drive traffic to your site but again traffic is not everthing, according to me you must have a best converting offer hence traffic without convertion is useless. There is a lot of traffic NOISE out there because there are so many ways to drive traffic.

What I do is use spreadsheets - one per site. I put my URL's on each and then list out the different traffic methods I plan to follow at the top. I follow that for each keyword from the URL.

As I go through the list, I mark the date. Works well, keeps me organized, and it is simple to see what is working and what isn't.

My best advice at this stage is that you invest the most time you can in education, learn everything you need to build a strong foundation about this business.. this is important because after you prepare an area to work with in this online world (being Internet Marketing, eBay selling, creating your own product, etc etc) you will have some knowledge that will help you to work faster on your traffic.

My second advice would be that you get a mentor to help you.. it will be a small investment in your online career but you will save A LOT OF TIME, and time, sooner or later will be priceless in your work.
From my own experience I would recommend Chris Farrell Membership Site, I am a member myself and I can tell you that he does a great job teaching newcomers.

Link building, ad swaps, social media, video and article marketing are few of the things you should try to get traffic. This are the free methods, but if you are quite desperate then you can buy ad space from popular sites in your niche.

Google Adwords, Facebook ads are fool-proof ways to get traffic. However you need to spend a good amount of money before getting the right formula to success in PPC.

I suggest you go over to both Mark Ling's affilorama.com or Matt Carter's mattsmarketingblog.com and check out all the free info on getting traffic. You want to check out some of their latest webinars on traffic methods. Also sign up on Mark and Matt's lists, so you keep getting updates on the latest developments, of which I promise you there are many, and they come at a fast rate! As mentioned there are many different ways of generating traffic - all of which have their merits. My personal favs are video marketing, SEO and article submissions.... It's a hugely dense subject however so if you really want to learn you'd be best off searching around the forum for "Traffic" threads and compiling a list of the most recommended idea's...

Focus on a few of the ones your most comfortable with and then implement the strategies and track your results with analytics to see which are performing the best.

Getting traffic is an ongoing process. Successful businesspeople will tell you that success is doing the RIGHT things over and over again. That's true for traffic I think. There are 101 ways to get traffic, but the trick is to find the BEST ways of getting traffic for your niche and target market and do them over and over again.

DON'T try 101 ways. Narrow it down to a manageable handful and then repeat them over and over again. In the beginning, you'll do a lot of testing. But eventually, you'll narrow it down to a handful that work best.

That said, here are some awesome resources for getting traffic:

1. Ana Hoffman's TrafficGenerationCafe.com

The first post on her site right now is My Go-To Traffic Strategy for Kick-Starting a Brand New Blog

She also has a post on How to Promote Your Blog On a $100 Budget

Ana's entire site is filled with tips and strategies for getting traffic.

2. Kim Roach's http://www.BuzzBlogger.com/ is also filled with tips and strategies for getting more traffic.

She also has a 21 Steps to 1,000 Visitors Per Day post

At just $37, her Traffic Dashboard product is an excellent value.

3. Nick's Traffic Tricks is also filled with traffic-getting strategies.

I'm no longer willing to pay big bucks for traffic products. Getting a lot of consistent, targeted traffic requires commitment. It's an ongoing effort. These 3 sites should keep you busy for a long time.
