The next step in building a list?

So I've set up a squeeze page with an offer ( a free exercise in MP3 format ).

I've created a video that I've uploaded to YouTube and Dailymotion (I've ried other sites but that doesn't seem to work, maybe because I'm in Thailand).

Now I need to start driving as much traffic as possible to the squeeze page.

I am developing my own product but it will cost $500 to have professionally recorded and I don't have the money for that right now. Once I have my own product I can start doing JV's.

So I want to make some money through affiliate sales.

The niche I'm in is 'self-help'.

What will be in terms of time the most efficient method of getting traffic to my squeez page?

Articles?
Forum posting? (would rather not do that as it seems time intensive and not a long lasting benefit)
Twitter?

The truth is there is really no one efficient method for all niches, some work better than the others. You have to test everything before coming to a conclusion of which method is more efficient for you.

If I were you 2 scenarios:
    1. I have a little money

      - Set up a ppc campaign to see if your product will convert and from which keywords

      - mash all traffic methods together to leverage one another
    2. I don't have money

      - Set up article marketing campaign to see if your product will convert

      - mash all traffic methods together to leverage one another
    Hope it helps!

    Regards,
    Darren

Articles, they're totally free. At 1,000 people on your list you can start doing full JV, and $500 won't be an issue

I would also recommend article marketing.Try to get the articles to as many article directories as possible for maximum leverage, people do visit other directories than Ezine Articles.

Here is a article directory list recommended by fellow Warrior forum members:

If you have a little money to spare, use SubmitYourArticle.com submission service.

I think articles marketing is your best shot since you don't have money.

Submit your articles to many directories, I recommend Ezine and Free traffic system. These two websites can bring a lot of traffic back to your site.

I also know an article submission service who can take your articles and submit them on Ezine premium and Free traffic system pro accounts. It will benefit you as your articles will be live in just one day so you could test your niche quickly. Plus you will be able to add more backlinks to your articles.

If you want to try the service tell me I can give you the service provider details.

    Hi YseUp,

I can see you got already good advice so far and from my side Article Marketing is the one I recommend, too.

But sitting down researching a topic is time consuming if you have nothing on hand what can speed up the process in producing unique quality articles. You mentioned above that you want to drive traffic quickly and here there could be a solution for you.

This page shows you the help I use (help of three software pieces) to speed up my writing and creating unique content which is approved within 48hours on EzineArticle.com and many other article directories.

I'm sure with help of these programs creating traffic within three months shall be easily achievable and as well building a great list through your squeeze page.

Additionally you can contact me anytime through the contact me link on the blog if you have any questions to the above suggested programs.

Look forward talking to you soon. Alex

Is there any reason why you can't do the recording yourself for your product? I understand that you want it "professionally" done, but with technology the way it is today, isn't there any way you could research how to do it and just do that? That would save you a lot of money right there!

I think if the content is really good, then as long as the recording is decent, you should be able to sell it. Then after you make some more money, have it re done.

    Hi Luke,

There are several options out there to get variations of an article in an instant, without spending hours to re-write yourself. Very powerful.
And choosing the best directories at the beginning brings results quickly, too.

    Enjoy your day, Alex
