how to put a picture and title of a post on your blog sidebar?

sorry this topic sounds dumb but how am i suppose to do that? example i saw a wonderful post from another blog and i want to put it in my blog sidebar where it only state the picture and the title. how izzit possible?

    If it is about a post on another blog - I'd suggest to use a Text widget and place the code for the image and the title in it. Except PHP you can use anything in Text widgets: plain text, html tags, JS.

    On a Blogger.com blog, as the example you gave, it's the "Recent Posts Advanced" widget. It's toward the bottom under Featured, at least on my blog. Check the box to include thumbnails.

    Other than the use of that gadget there's nothing positive I can say about that blog

    Of course that's only for your own posts.
