Just thought I'd share this with everyone.

Okay, so I was thinking about a product to promote from Clickbank the other day, but I knew I didn't want to promote anything in the IM niche.

I started thinking about a product that desperate people would buy and then I thought about some type of lottery book. You know, a book that would show you how to hit the lottery. these people are extremely desperate!

Anyway, I go to Clickbank to find such a book and came across the Lotto Black Book in the Business/Investing section. It is a salesletter promoting a book by someone named Larry B****

His last name was not visible.

Here's the sales letter:

The Lotto Black Book! Secrets Exposed...

It has a high gravity and a great commission at over $50 so I said to myself that this is the one.

Out of curiosity I did a Google search on the book and came across a lottery forum where someone was asking if anyone had tried the methods in this book.

One of the responders replied with a very funny response I know you're gonna like.

First, go to the sales page and look at the picture of the guy holding up a check from the Oklahoma lottery. It's the one with the Oklahoma Lottery Logo in the background.

Now go to this page and see who that guy REALLY is:

Oklahoma Lottery - Press Release

It's not Larry but someoneelse named Michael Anderson!

It's a shame that people would stoop so low to sell a book.

In the sales letter, it even looks like they altered his goatee a bit to make him look more like the guy in the picture right below it.

Anyway, just thought I'd share this. Don't think I'll be promoting this book anymore.

What do you guys think?

This kind of crap gives those who publish legitimate ebooks a bad rep. Shame these companies that put out falsified products on a regular basis have to exist (if you don't know what I'm talking about further research will reveal that the owner or this and other products is some LLC gig).

I've seen that product before, and it made me chuckle. I ALMOST bought it, just for kicks and giggles. But then, I realized that there's absolutely no reason to give anyone my hard-earned money for something like that.

But...there are people that believe they can "buy" the secret to win money......
Have a friend....older fellow in his 70s...that sends money every month to a psychic to give him winning numbers.....
We have been trying for months to get him to stop.....he has not won...
If he was on the net he just might buy that book...
    Sad...

Yeah, positive thinking, it's great that you know the crap before you put your effort promoting it.

Actually, I think that the first thing affiliate should do before promoting any one product is to research.

BTW, I would like to say congratulations, that you found out that it's a crap.

    Better on your way.

And absolutely No One on the Warrior Forum has Pen Names for different niches, or to protect their identity, or on article directories.

Before you conclude he's a scammer, you might ask the question: If you had actually won the lottery three times, and were promoting a book like this, would you want everyone in the world knowing your real name?

He could be a scam artist as you're claiming, but I think your evidence, so far, does not prove anything, except maybe he is, and maybe he is using a pen name.
