Question - Need Advise - Multiple sites related to same niche

Ok, I need some suggestions.
I have a niche which could particularly be several other niches, but all related to the same thing I am selling.
So my question is:
Should I create multiple domains related to the same niche to target more specific keywords and continue selling the same product but with a different cover?
This will help in specific keywords in adwords/etc...

Would it be ok IF I used the same Web Template but just reword it a bit to define the MORE specific Keyword/Domain name of the product.

I guess this is also goes back to duplicate content with same images etc... and only a few words changed.

Please anyone...

    Duplicate content is never good. Search engines support quality, original content. In the beginning it "might" help you rank, but once the crawlers notice the duplicate content may not be that favorable. As for the template, I am not sure, maybe a PROGRAMMER may be able to help you there. But, as far as I am concerned when I was building my site and services I learned that duplicate content does not help.

    Hey DaWarrior,

    One solution would simple be to create a splash/landing page on the alternate domains. Rather than duplicating the whole platform and making it tougher, just re-write some copy for your alternate landing pages with keyword targeted phrases - and then lead them into your central sales stream.
