New to the Forum and wanting help!!!

Hello Everyone!

I have just signed up to this forum this morning and this is my first post so firstly, a big hello to y'all.

I have been looking at this internet marketing thing for about 12 months and not really gotten anywhere.

I have also been following Andrew Reynolds 'Cash on Demand' and I haven't got anywhere with it - have tried but with no luck. I'm not dogging it as I think the information in the course is excellent but the application is far harder than he makes out.

I have spent money on the plr to a product, rebranding it, having a sales page website set up and it has just dat there.

I dont know the first this about CEO, PPC, Facebook, twitter or anything as I am stupid when it comes computers/internet.

But I hear all these 'guru's' talking about the massive amount of money that i'm leaving on the table and how there has never been a better time to get involved.

I have been to conferences and seminars and seen the likes of Tom Hua, Simon Coulson, Pat Mesiti, Bret McFall, Armand Morin, Chris Howard and more. But I just don't have the money to spend on their courses.

As a result, my website has just sat there in outer internet space. I have spent about a grand setting it up and I dont want it to go to waste but I dont have any more money to get it out there.

Can anybody help a clueless newbie?

Many thanks

Ben

    Hi Ben,

    Welcome to the forum.

Your story is a very common one.

The thing they haven't told you is that having a product is irrelevant in itself.

If you built the best coffee shop in the world on a deserted island you're not gonna make any money.

If you make the best coffee shop in an area with a million people - but they have no money - you're not gonna make any money.

Having a product and getting people sound like all you need but there's more to it than that.

Yes it can be easy to make money online - but not quite as easy as people trying to sell you information make it out to be.

My advice would be to do some research into the market you've created your site in and find out for yourself - where they hang out, what their problems are, what they're already buying - and who's already successfully selling to them.

If you can't find those things out - find them out about something different instead and then start again.

If you can find out those things - look at what you're offering and see if it fits what they want. See how you can turn your offer into something that people already selling in that market could make money telling people about (help them make money), and make sure that the message you're giving about your product actually addresses the things that it can do for them and that you know they want. (look at sales pages and PPC ads that other people are running).

The biggest thing you can do to get started making decent money is model what's already working best in your niche and look for people who already have access to those people you're trying to access and work out a way to work with them.

    Hi Ben

I know how you feel, myself and my husband started IM back last year and things can be a bit slow to get started and very frustrating. We came across a great training site, , it really is very very good and very cheap. The first 14 days trail period is $4.95. It has helped us to drive traffic and also develop an ebook and squeeze page to build the list. The site also has a forum and the people are very friendly. . As you will learn the money is in the list, so driving traffic is key.

What is your web address? so I can take a look
Email me at sharon@cashflows2u.com if you need any further help

    Best wishes

My error for putting the link in the signature but I recommended it to Ben because it is so cheap, and I believe whole heartly that it will help him/anyone when they are starting out, it really is a great site. I wouldn't have promoted it otherwise.

      Ben,

Welcome to the Warrior Forum. Andy has offered some very good advice about having a market for your product.

But, you also mentioned that you don't have any money to get your website "out there".

There are ways to generate traffic that won't cost you anything but lots of time. If I start listing those here, you will have a book to read.

Start doing some searches on traffic. Learn some more about backlinking.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking you have to know how to do everything before moving forward. You have a website. (I can only assume that you have a market for your "product") Now you need traffic. Focus on that aspect.
