Always Accidentally Clicking On the War Room Ad

I don't know how many other people here do this, but the War Room ad on the bottom right hand corner of the screen here on the site template I am always accidentally clicking on.

Half the time when I am going to the next page I click on the page 2 link which happens to be within the War Room ad range because I didn't scroll down far enough. So all of a sudden I am at the War Room ad.

Anyone else have this experience?

I'm not complaining, it is just kind of funny.

I guess it is good advertising because I keep clicking on the ad! (of course, this only happens when I'm not signed in. The ad goes away when a member is signed in).

By the way, I am a War Room member and it is well worth the price!

    I never see a War Room Ad. Are you logged in when you do that?

    That's weird -- I never see the ad unless I log out. I thought War Room members didn't see it. Maybe a little forum hiccup or something?

      Haha, that's funny, I didn't even know what you were talkin about since I'm eternally logged in.

      Just had to log out to check, and I totally see what you're talking about. If your browser is opened up just enough to see the whole forum page, it would be hard NOT to click on that thing.

      I've never figured out why people don't stay logged in to begin with. Is there a reason for that and I'm just not aware of it?

        The only time I log out is when I do it "unintentionally" -- such as when I clear out my computer's cookies and cache. But like you, I don't hit the "log out" button when I leave or anything like that. That's a horrifying thought.

        However, I can think of a few reasons someone might do it:

        1. Someone is using a public computer (like at an Internet cafe or the business center of a hotel).

        2. Someone is using a shared family computer and doesn't want anyone snooping into their PMs and such.

        3. Someone goes over to a friend's house or is otherwise using a computer they don't own.

        4. Someone has multiple accounts, so they're logging in and out for their sock puppet show.

        5. Someone who regularly (maybe daily) clears out their cookies/cache/private data.


        I'm sure there are more.

    The ad in the corner is shown only to visitors and to registered members which are don't have access in the War Room

    So me, logged in or logged out I always get it, perhaps its the proper time to upgrade

    I am clicking it all the time! Does the add remove itself once you become a War Room Member? Because that might be incentive enough to sign up!

    EDIT/UPDATE: Two seconds after I posted this, I scrolled down to read & spellcheck my post like I always do, and I accidentally clicked the ad instead of the scrollbar!
