I hesitate to give you a definition, I will leave that to someone better equipped. But as to the question of which ones can you use as bonuses, that is dependent on the rights given in the license. You need to read the rights document that should accompany the product. It will tell you NO CAN, or YES CAN followed by what you are allowed to do with the product.

This is a general overview....be sure to follow what the product license states.

RR- Resell rights products are ones you can resell to others. Usually the content stays the same. You have the right to sell it to the end user.

MRR -Master Resell Rights are similar to RR in that you can pass on rights to others to use the product. But then you can give others the right to resell the product also.

PLR Private Label Rights - You can change and edit the product and claim authorship of the product, yet you do not have the copyright to the product. You can change the format like making it into a video. Once you have significantly change the product and created your own product, you can claim copyright to your new product.

With so many new PLR - MRR and RR on the market it is easy to get confused because each author can state what he wants done with the product.

The key is to follow the license that comes with any product. The author will state exactly what you can and can not do.

The author's license will let you know if you can us it as a bonus.

Here is more I hope it can help you with your questions.

Private Label Rights (PLR) is content that can be sold to others. The content can be edited and modified to the purchaser's desires. These types of rights allow you the flexibility to change sentences, paragraphs and whatever else you see fit to change.

Master Resale Rights (MRR) are similar in nature to the resell rights products, but these generally come with the ability to resell not only the products, but the right to resell the product. These often cost somewhat more than the resell rights products, but again because they are digital products, you can sell them again and again for additional profits.

Resale Rights or Basic Resale Rights (RR) (you can buy the product and re-sell it, but the person buying it from you does NOT have the right to resell it).

The Mrr/Plr also have additional conditions if you they are softwares instead of articles.

    Example :

Co-Branded : The software will be customized under your name but will have a link to the company name on the software.
Custom : This is the most preferred option. You will get the product customized under your company name, website URL, logo/icon and email on it. This means it is same as Co-Branded but it will NOT have any links or mention of seller.
Source code : Here you will also get the source code for the software. This also includes the custom version. With this you can also rebrand software yourself , edit it and sell it to your clients.

    regards,

Even tho there is a "standard understanding" of the rights and the description, it is always best to check the license, usually in text form, that comes with the product.
Sometimes the author changes the terms slightly.
I never assume the rights associated with any product until I read the disclosure that comes with the product.
    Have fun.
