How many more mistakes can I make on this deal?

Talk about failing forward fast!

I did that thing about the Lin Yu Chun Fan Club - oh so the wrong way - and I did it quickly.

#1) - bought the domain
#2) - tried to build a fan site
#3) - gave up early and put the domain for sale on Flippa
#4) - THEN, built a fan site to (I thought) help promote the domain auction
#5) - domain sold for $30 (I lost money on listing fee + featured)
#6) - winner hasn't communicated with me yet and has BAD feedback
#7) - I allowed automated bid approvals (I thought to spur bids)
#8) - now the domain is getting LARGE (for me) Organic traffic numbers and I'm not sure what to do with the site's content (which I didn't sell)

Before I make a million more mistakes on this - any advice?

site is currently located at Lin Yu Chun Fan Club but will be moved if/when this buyer commuicates with me and arranges payment.

It almost sounds like you don't want to sell the site anymore?

Well Yes - that's true. Of course, the site itself was never for sale - just the domain name.

Unfortunately, a deal's a deal - so unless this guy never communicates with me - I don't see how I can get out of selling the domain.

I'm wondering if I should just move the site to a new domain and hope the traffic follows it there, or....

If he doesn't communicate with you or send funds, you should make it clear to him that the deal is off, or read the site's TOS regarding this issue. I would fight to keep the domain name at this point!
