Quick Affiliate tips

Just want to throw some tips i've learned and maybe you all can share some more tips also!
I've seen so many people failing in affiliate marketing but when looking over their techniques, keywords, and strategies I am baffled they thought they would succeed! Here are a few very basic habits to get into which will help give you a better start with your niche venture.
Do more keyword research - Google offers a very simple tool that shows you the competitive level of keywords. Remember you are looking for the people buying the product, not researching the product. You are looking for the person in the "buying mode". So common sense would say use keywords with your niche but include more specific keywords for the buyer! Write a nice informational article on the product but target less competitive and more specific keywords for the buyer!
example: Dog costumes you will find maybe very competitive. But "Buy dog costumes online" or just "buy dog costumes" or "dog costumes for sale" will be much less competetive and you are targeting someone ready to buy! $$
Link Link Link! - I see many people just writing an article with a link below "click here to buy"....very persuasive uh? Use multiple links throughout your article to your product.
Ex:"Finding a dog costume for halloween isn't easy - {link}but we know where to find the best!{link}
Also using product image i find produce a very high CTR. If you are listing multiple products use the highest reviewed product, not the most expensive, some people only promote the highest cost products because they think more commission...this can hurt your credibility. Also work on building your backlinks.
Vary your articles - There are several products that can do this for you. Write or hire someone to write multiple versions of your articles. Also known as "spinning" your articles. This will help you create more valuable back links and show up for more specific long tail keyword searches. Check out thebestspinner and SENuke. Very awesome products.
Get your own domain - I shouldn't even have to say this but its true. No one is going to trust a joeblow.wordpress.com. This is a business. Be professional, get your own website if you want to reach real success.
A lot of people are talking about quiting...my last bit of advice is this.
Your only limitations are the ones you have created in your own mind.
