Good Time to Build Sites for Adsense?

I've noticed a jump in my Adsense earnings, and my traffic is down a little bit on my sites. It got me thinking - yes, people aren't necessarily buying anymore because of the economy, but they're still online and clicking.

I wonder if this is a good time to focus on Adsense and other PPC programs?

    I have noticed that clicks have fallen off but that traffic is up a bit, but I can't figure out why people aren't clicking on sites that they did click on before.
