Can anyone give me list of IM experts who's target market is newbies who want to make money online.

It's not that I'm a newbie lol, it's for research purpose.

Appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

Probably someone we could all learn a little from.

I thought that too, but some target other internet marketers who are not necessarily newbies.

Thanks but his articles seem quite complicated, not sure if they're aimed at newbies who want to make money online.

I would have to say Wagenheim - but his methods
are more based in hard work than in discovering
any secret get-rich-quick methods.... which is really
    what people prefer to working.

Yes, hard work, but LOW cost...which is important for a lot of newbs as
many of them are broke...at least the ones I run into.

    Absolutely Steven Wagenheim!

I've learned a ton of stuff Steven and I've never even bought one of his products! The guy really knows how to communicate effectively, in writing and on his Youtube vids. Hats off to SW!

Plus he has a cool exercise bike.

I strongly recommend our own Michael Oksa. He's a very helpful warrior and also has a one on one coaching program going on currently. Very patient, yet challenges you at the same time. The first thing he did for me (yes, I recently joined his coaching program) was to chart out a development plan, which I think was very important so that we could know what level I am at now and what I am aiming for. Definitely worth a newbie's time and money if one is looking at building a steady IM career and not a get-rich-quickly scheme.

I'll second Michael. He's a really great guy and knows his stuff. Plus, he has
        great taste in music.

Michael Oska is amazing - he is so generous with his time and his resources.

But I would have to put Bev Clement as my number one coach for newbies - if you listen to Bev (i.e. read her posts) you won't go far wrong. She is a straight talking no bullsxit type person. She also has a forum for newbies which is called imbasics but oldbies would benefit as she covers stuff such as business planning and tax.

I know there are loads of others who are great too but Bev has been very very helpful to setting me on the right track (ish - I should listen to her more).

          Hope that helps

          All the best

          Rach

ps I have just re-read the original post and now think Bev will kill me for calling her a "guru"!

Yes, the Bum Marketing king who is probably responsible for more newbs
making their first dollar online than anybody else...and at no cost at all.

One of the few guys who I really want to meet someday.

That's true; he is responsible for me making my first dollar and I give him credit for every dollar.

You will be blown away when you meet him to find out that he is exactly like he seems... very down to Earth and willing to offer so much advice. Definitely an all around great person.

Lee, Michael, Andy I would listen to them. One of the great things about these three people is that they are available to talk.

Great names in this thread - especially Michael Oksa and Bev Clement.

Two biggies for me are Steven Wagenheim and Ed Dale (via the Thirty Day Challenge).

When I first started visiting this board, I always knew to watch for Steven's posts since they were jam-packed with information presented in a way a newbie could understand and I still learn cool stuff from his posts!

    Hi Adam,

I wouldn't use the word Guru, but I do focus a lot of helping people get started effectively in IM, so they're definitely a market I focus on, just not solely as I like to help anyone so I also do advanced stuff for non-beginners.

I don't know about the title 'guru' but I do know a little about traffic generation. In fact I have I have a free ebook I wrote on the topic (see my signature).

Yep - I enjoy Andy Henry's posts, too! Good stuff there.

See, this is why threads like this make me a stark raving lunatic. I'd hate to think that someone who deserves a mention may be forgotten. Also, as I continue to be reminded of folks who've been helpful to me during my rank newbie-ness, then each additional suggestion I make becomes somehow diluted.

There are tons of warriors here who help beginners and who do a darn good job at it too. I hope they all get the mention they deserve.

My consulting business focuses on helping pure beginners learn the ropes.

I don't care for the word "guru" myself. However, my wife and I are happy with how things are going for us. We both quit the "rat race" and now work from home with our Internet businesses. Life is good!

      What about Kevin Riley,
I have only purchased one of his products (Mission Make Money Online) but the standard was way above anything else I have seen. Everything is laid out in a step by step manner with all the information you could ever need. His video's back up the information in the worksheets. He is a great teacher.

Also Amy Bass has a very good program (WSO) to teach people about blogging. I am not sure if she is quite guru status but she has produced an excellent product for Newbies. I have only been following the course for 2 month's but I have already picked up many great tips that Im sure will increase my blog income.

Thanks all for posting. I don't like using the word "guru" either but it seems like it's the only way to put the message across. Again I wasn't looking for a guru myself, I'm not a newbie I have over 5 years of IM experience.

What I realised is a lot of the famous gurus have a target audience that consists of other internet marketers, not newbies. Most of my customers are total newbies, some who don't even know what a domain name or FTP is. So I thought I'd post this question to see if there are others who deal with total newbies too.

I'm honoured to have other IM gurus (sorry!) participate and come forward.

    Thanks
